Evinrude Outboard with a custom exhaust! Do you like it or do you hate it? #boats #boat #boats #speedboats #skiff #bigwaves #centerconsole #hauloverinlet #haulover
Lmao.. Guys,it’s call above water exhaust hahahah Merc 2.5’s among every other company been doing it for years on there high performance outboards.. kinda a 80’s and 90’s thing Sounds awesome
I remember when I visited my grandmother in Pensacola, Florida and she dropped some serious wisdom on me. She said “Grandson, one day some people will waste their time reading your comment.” Today is that day.
Nice noise BUT The action of the exhaust being released normally though the center of the propeller is that a partial vacuum is formed just behind the prop so giving a scavenging effect on the exhaust gases more power. But it does sound nice.
Wish I could have put custom exhaust on my evinrude etc 250 she was a beast but almost as quiet as allot of 4 stroke engines and ran insanely fast with tons of hole shot power to throw the boat up on plane in next to nothing
@@forresthoward5868 I agree guys would tell me oh their junk they don't last. Well I have had Yams, Merc, Suzuki you name it. And yes I did buy the boat then first thing has the motor gone thru and still to this day that motor will crank up first try cold/hot/rainy day you name it and no smoke and out run most 4 strokes that I have come across and is almost as quiet as one. If proper prop size and a good prop is on it for what you want to use it for and I always try to keep the max Rpms about 800 to 600 away from redline to reduce ware and tear.
@@thunderbolt6414 yea my dad had a 225 Johnson on back of an 18 foot laser boat, it had bass boat deck on top and racing tunnel hull under it😁. He had foot hole cut just above the water line and when that thing was wound up it sounded like a formula one car coming down the lake you could hear it over a mile away
@@spankthemonkey3437sounds annoying, really. I love boats and love triples, quads and quints.. definitely a gear head. But when I'm the lake, or the waterway, I really don't want to hear someone else's boat. I don't even want to hear MY boat. Just wanna hear the wind and waves, and my kids having fun!
@@endokrin7897 you sound like a communist bot trying to stir the pot🤷 if you were a true "gearhead" you would know ("IT") doesn't stop on the black top it carries over to water. 🤷
@@TireSlayer55 the exhaust is above water at speed. So unless going slow, you're not going to be quiet. Not to mention other runner boats with several outboards far louder than this like the hash runners from Africa to Europe being the norm. My country with one of the securest boarders on the planet has twin prop planes flying flat out, below radar, just above the ocean, at night using night vision or just instruments and land in the far nth outback to bring drugs from SE Asia into nth Australia. Extremely loud and still beating the feds by extremely high volumes and hundreds of runways to choose last minute. Speeding loudly sometimes trumps stealth. I'd never argue otherwise, but not always. There are times that being quiet is imperative for your operational security. Other times being loud is a great throw off by making the authorities think "no one's dumb enough to be that loud and break the law". Biggest shipments are done by the elites with full protection for them tax free $$$ like most countries. You believe what you want. It's not upto me to change your opinion. I suggest being open to more than one way of doing things, including running contraband. Be well 👍
The beauty and sound of a 2 stroke. I'd take this over a 4 stroke every day of the week and twice on Sunday. While not the sound of the 2.5 Mercury Racing motor screaming at 7500 rpm this will do nicely. Too bad this guy didn't bury the throttle to hear the sound of this beast.
Obviously trailer your water craft into assault whichever body of water you choose. If you actually had to live with the noise generated by visiting dipshits, you would feel differently.
@@thecircuitbox Evinrude E-tech's are 2 strokes, not 4 strokes. It's why Evinrude is no more, and it's a damn shame as their biggest motor was the 300hp V-6 as this is I believe. This motor on down all out performed any and all 4 strokes. The 150 HO E-tech destroyed the 4stroke 150's of any and all companies.
Why did this happen to Evinrude They made good quality reliable outboard motors for years , how could they let this happen In fact they dominated outboards for ocean You used to see only Evinrude Johnson or
@@tylerclontz I see an idiot with no regard for fellow boaters, fishermen or anyone else within earshot of his obnoxious exhaust. Why? What do you see? Be honest, or my karma will run over your dogma.
@@tracycampbell4526 I and plenty of others would for sure love to hear that thing ripping down the Parker Strip in AZ. I know fisherman with loud offshore engines… Your comment comes off as, oh, I see, he’s black so that’s why he did it. You’re assuming he’s an idiot just because of the mods done to HIS engine? Small minded for sure.
@@tylerclontz No, don’t think so. Maybe that’s just the first thing that comes to your mind. My want to reflect on your tendency to project that on others. Small minded is thinking everyone thinks like you do, and wants to hear that noise. The huge majority of sportsmen go out on the water for peace and quiet.
Some nerd probably jealous because the most power he’s experienced is his keyboard! That’s coming from a white Aussie bogan that hates all races! People are SHlT and deserve what is coming!
Agreed. I’m out here telling them to be honest with their answers to their smug comments. Be straight up and say what you mean, or bad karma is definitely befalling their families.
I don't like it bcs it's on the water. I prefer to relax with nature when I'm on the water. I would "say to each his own" or " whatever floats your boat", but everyone else has to hear it too.
