If She-Hulk and Deadpool ever meet up, and they both do a 4th wall break inside a 4th wall break at the same time I’m pretty sure that our screens would break from the pressure.
@@steelsheen She is awesome, too bad the Disney writers want she-hulk to be woke, she is dealing with anger more than Bruce? He fought with his angry alter ego for 15 years, and lost 2 loved ones, and she just instantly better than Bruce at being a Hulk. bad writing.
Fr fr tho! In season one I had so many moments I actually forget it was just one actress doing like 3 characters! Never had that before. Like people always talk abt meryl streep, but when watching her, Obviously she’s mastered the technique if you will, but I’m still aware she’s acting. With maslany it was the first time I sort of came to the realization that… this is what all these pretentious snobby artsy people talk abt when talking about ‘transcending’ and ‘becoming one with the character’.
Well, that's more then you can say about she hulk. The one that pitched it to marvel said she found out she is not a writer... ...and it shows. This is not a story... it's a collection of garbo awful feminist tropes, especially the mary sue coz wahman trope and misandry trope (menhate, you have to mensplain it to lefties coz they aren't good with language) then they called it a day. That's not the same as a story.
I love how she separates the character from herself and refers to she hulk. She is a really amazing actress and a sunny person :) I hope everything goes great
I REALLY hope that Marvel fans will watch Orphan Black after seeing Tatiana Maslany in She-Hulk. Her performance on that show probably makes her the best actress of our generation...and she won an Emmy for it🙌🏻
@@SilverRAM777 Yeah, they seem to have taken it off every streaming site. Probably because AMC is currently working on a sequel/spin-off show set in the same universe called Orphan Black: Echoes and want it all to themselves, but by doing that they sadly made it as inacessable as possible for new viewers, which really sucks. She deserves so much more recognition for this show...
Tatiana Maslany's performance in Orphan Black is as good as anybody's on any TV show ever. You see every character she plays as a different person even though they (mostly, Helena) look the same.
AND she often played characters pretending to be other characters she also plays and you can 100000% get the sense that she is doing it. It’s friggin unbelievable how good of an actress she is.
There is a podcast show that follows after the series, and even in that, just HEARING the characters, I'd often forget that they are played/voiced by the same person.
This must have been almost easy only playing two physically disparate characters instead of 9 characters in Orphan Black. Tatiana is so quintessentially Canadian it makes us all proud. And her and Ryan Reynolds in a film would be awesome.
The best part is that as the MCU heads into the multiverse, if Daddy Feige ever asks her to play multiple versions of Jen, Tatiana will just be like, "Kevin, shush, I've got this. What do you mean there's only 5 versions of Jen? I can do more!" 😂
I feel like actors genuinely enjoy Ali’s charisma charm and overall interview skills. Also the questions are so different I feel like actors really appreciate that as do I. It always makes for a good interview!
She’s so charming and charismatic. She carried the show. I love how low stakes slice of life the show is. Something you can put on and not take too seriously
She-Hulk saying she has it harder than Bruce Banner She-Hulk: Don't mansplain me with this Hulk stuff, I already have to deal with men trying to tell me how to do my job Bruce's struggles: -Bruce was a human experiment since birth all the way to his childhood - His dad killed his mom. - The father of his first love hunted him down through all of the American continent back and forth. Not to mention the fact he couldn't get stressed in any way (incapable of getting angry or even getting laid). - He started to have a "normal life" in Calcuta, far away from any conflict, to get dragged once again for the greater good and suffer once again. - The second love of his life, dead. - One of his closest friends, dead. - Being forced by Wanda to destroy an entire city and a gigantic feeling of remorse after that. - Trapped in the body of his co-host in another planet for 2 years. Thanos beats him half to death. - Watch himself how half the f*cking universe banished from existence. - Lose an arm in order to get half of the universe back. - Still being afraid of losing control, and the feeling of guilt of all Hulk's past damage to the human race. - Fear that his beloved cousin has to go through the same ton of crap he went through. She-Hulk's struggles: - Being cat-called in the streets. - Get mansplained in her job. Seriously???
And the worst part about this scene is the fact even Jennifer acknowledges Bruce’s trauma and then brushes it aside like it wasn’t a big deal AND then goes on to say how men try to tell her how to do her how to handle her area of expertise while trying to tell Bruce how to handle his area of expertise. If you really listen to her, she just comes off as a hypocrite. But another thing people seemed to not notice or care about, was Jen was full of shit, she doesn’t know how to control her anger and they showed that by her hulking out at the end of the conversation. Then to top it off, the actual truth makes it all far worse. The only reason Jen can control it “better” is because Bruce was exposed to far more gamma radiation than she ever was. The Savage She Hulk run showed us what Jennifer Is like after more exposure and she’s exactly the same as Bruce is with Savage Hulk. Just another case of the writers forcing bullshit on the audience while not knowing or caring for the source material.
@@fallendevonish1869 Even though Tatiana Maslany is a good actor, this is one of the perfect cases where the actor should challenge the writer and have a couple of rewrites. I'm dumbfounded that someone as talented as Tatiana thought that the She Hulk script was any good. The last few episodes felt like a 6th grader wrote em. I feel like there are the Marvel fans that don't care and are just swallowing whatever Marvel is doing now, and there are the Marvel fans that have been along for the great journey phases 1-3 gave us and we've noticed the dip in quality and because we start to criticize the new Marvel material, people will call us haters, complainers or negative. Smh
This is adorable. Love Tatiana's appreciation of some very cool questions, her joy shines through. Looks like she loved inhabiting this role, and I'm more excited than ever to see it!
I can’t wait to see this series, I was not a huge She-Hulk fan, but hearing it be a lawyer series and having scenes of her breaking the 4th wall like she did in the comics after learning she predated Deadpool as Marvel’s 4th wall breaker had caught my eye.
@@OptimusGPrime yh but that wasn't done at the cost of the already established characters Nor was it as poorly written and dare I say is one of the reasons her books became even more unpopular and overshadowed by Better books including red hulk 😂
I was"Listen up to that lady'' saying why she say my full name and asking me if I want to see the next show with Mark Ruffalo working with her I love how she separates the character from herself and refers to She-Hulk. She is a really amazing actress and a sunny person :) I hope everything goes great This is adorable. I Love Tatiana's appreciation of some very cool questions, her joy shines through. Looks like she loved inhabiting this role, and I'm more excited than ever to see it! I feel like actors genuinely enjoy Ali’s charisma charm and overall interview skills. Also, the questions are so different I feel like actors really appreciate that as do I. It always makes for a good interview! I was thinking about watching this series. After this wonderful and playful interview, it is on my list of what to watch. I love Tatiana Maslany in the Orphan Black series which, to me, was an exceptional display of character acting. She’s so charming and charismatic. She carried the show. I love how low-stakes slice of life the show is. Something you can put on and not take too seriously Okay, I now demand a Deadpool/She-Hulk episode where they literally fight each other over who gets to talk into the 4th wall camera. 10 months ago I love this woman so much, I'm so happy to have her in the MCU! I love Ali Plumbs' interviews. They seem fun and he knows so much coming in. Now I have to watch the She-Hulk. Especially now that I know Orphan Blacks Tatiana Maslany is playing her. She's an amazing actor. Tatiana is amazing. This is going to be up there with WandaVision, I can predict that. I've already watched the episode three times and can't get enough of it. I love She-Hulk, when I heard they were gonna make a movie I was like YAY, when I knew Tatiana was gonna portray her, it was double Yay yay. And after seeing the first episode, it was quadruple Yay yay yay yay. I especially love how they do her when she's in She-Hulk form. Literally what she said right there about mundane !!!!! Like that’s what I loved about the Hulk comics! I see people that dislike it because they consider those episodes “ boring “ or “ pointless “ but in the comics, Jen / She-Hulk would go through everyday life while also being a hero on the side. Her stories were at times random but they fit her character/storyline. I love the approach to her character both in comics and in the MCU so when I see people hate the show I don’t think they understand that it’s literally true to the comics almost I love Tatiana, and can't wait to see her in the MCU movies!!! She is the best actress for this role. Everyone I know loves her plus Everyone they know and the list keep going on Loving how these new casts are so perfect for their roles as super nerds & fans too. I love her acting♥ I am in love with her smile and personality. Loved her since Orphan Black. Thank you Ali for bringing up the Cheetos/Chopsticks reference cos even I'm convinced Marvel Studios is beginning to be quite meta with their easter eggs callbacks lately. We still love you, Oscar Issac!!! That is the best!! I was never more excited about a Marvel casting like hers since Bernthal She looks like she's always blushing. Plus always smiling ❤ Loved this interview so much!! This was actually a GOOD interview... from Both sides.... honest and real.... rare nowadays.
God this show looks like shit on fire, what a trainwreck, i feel bad for the actors especially Tatiana she was amazing in Orphan Black but she has nothing to work with in this the writing is high school play level.
I love Ali Plumbs interviews. They seem fun and he knows so much coming in . Now I have to watch she hulk. Especially now that I know Orphan Blacks Tatiana Maslany is playing her. Shes an amazing actor.
Well these comments aren't curated at all...This show is TERRIBLE!! NONESENSE! THE WORST THING ON TV MANY WOULD SAY. Shockingly low standards here. Horrible
I was thinking about watching this series. After this wonderful and playful interview, it is on my list of what to watch. I love Tatiana Maslany in the Orphan Black series which, to me, was an exceptional display of character acting. 🌺
I only watched it because it’s Marvel and I hated it. So I checked her IMDB and saw Orphan Black there and watched it and loved it! Now I’m watching interviews of her and love her even more!
He's not gonna be in every episode, but they showed at least one scene in here that hasn't aired yet. So he's gonna appear again, *at least* for one more episode.
Tatiana is such a talented actress. Watching her in Orphan Black was truly amazing. I have no doubt this will be her breakout role. She also was born and raised in the city I live in. I wish her much success.
@@buster5661 it was a cute, fun question that you're taking way too seriously. Ruffalo is the only person on earth who could "Hulksplain" anything to another Hulk until now
How could I be taking it seriously if I didn’t even watch the interview. If you look at the context of the show and the anti messages they portray, it is very likely it wasn’t a joke Regardless, agree to disagree because neither one of us are going to change our minds Also hulksplain is a play on mansplaining which i don’t think you know the meaning of
@@buster5661 I absolutely know the meaning of mansplaining, which is why Hulksplaining is an obvious joke. Since you didn't watch the interview, you missed the part where she gushed about how gracious and open ruffalo was and how he would never talk down to anyone. The show isn't over the top SJW feminist either. There are some lines, and they do seem to make it into the previews more than they don't, but it's more of a show from a woman's perspective than it is preachy or anti-men at all.
Not even mentioned in the interview by either of them. Trust the BBC editors to add this after the fact. Probably turned off loads of people as potential viewers.
People are starting to criticize Marvel more and more. And is understandable if they don't like the series. But they HAVE to realize. Series are and extention to either Present a new character or elaborate a plot that needed more context. There are made to have more time to explain this new stories without having to release a Trilogy for each character. All this new characters will eventually join the Films. But something MARVEL keeps doing amazing is the casting. They don't just choose talented or trending actors. They choose talented actors that are a perfect fit to the character and actually enjoy the character they were given.
Shame about the writing thesedays though huh. She's a stunning actress but I don't hold much hope for this show. Plus the entire team behind it only want women to watch it. Basically it's gonna tank unfortunately.
@@marlstriker401 I thought the same at first. But that's why they change they promotion strategy. Unlike Ms. Marvel they knew they had to reveal important stuff or else people wouldn't watch it. Showing Hulk, Daredevil, Wong, Abomination, Red Hulk was a great help. There are 2 female directors one seems chill, the other is full feminist in a bad way. But that balance will help. We need a strong, cool, female Character. Someone fun but strong. Besides the main Writer has worked on Rick&Morty, RobotChicken and even KungFuPanda. I feel it could have great comedy. With some dark comedy, double meaning jokes and even good family jokes.
Thank you Ali for bringing up the Cheetos/Chopsticks reference cos even I'm convinced Marvel Studios is beginning to be quite meta with their easter eggs and callbacks lately. We still love you, Oscar Issac!!!
She Hulk sucks. She has it so much harder then Hulk. Even though Bruce has been through abusive childhood and watched his dad kill his mom. He couldn't see his 1st love because her dad and the government was hunting him down. He couldn't save his 2nd love and found out way later she died and he couldn't bring her back. He tried to save her but couldn't. Then he tried suice but the Hulk wouldn't let him die. But her getting cat called and being mansplanned to is much worse.
The best scene, which portraits perfectly the mindset of the writers and the target audience for this show, was the bar's bathroom scene. A bunch of women at ladies' night see a woman who had just suffered a car crash and their way of helping her is to assume she was beaten by her partner, then they give her new clothes and makeup, cause that's what was the most important thing at the moment, for her to look good. It really speaks to the superficiality of the whole thing. At least they had the afterthought of correcting the pronoun assumption of evil imaginary partner.
Also Banner tries to tell her to be responsible and to do good with her new powers. But no, she has a career and don’t be mansplaining to her. Great message
I hope Ali has some House of the Dragon interviews coming up. I mean most of the cast are from the UK so surely it would be pretty easy to set up some interviews.
Tatiana has so much talent is crazy. The more I see of her the more I want to see. I'm so glad she's getting this kind of opportunities so a wider audience gets to know her.
Marvel phases should’ve ended w/Endgame, tbh. This is what happens when something goes on too long (or when you hire a team of writers to fill a quota instead of talent): it jumps the shark over a sea of cringe.
