Idk about others but I immediately got this deep nostalgia listening to butterfly effect like I'm recalling memories from 10 years ago for some reason

Chanyeol's vocal is no joke. For real. Him singing "All of me" made me EXO-L and I was shocked when I realized that he is a main rapper of EXO😅

The fact that butterfly effect and gravity are both composed by LDN Noise... Other exo tracks they are credited with that I recommend are monster, lucky one, white noise and forever!!

Am i the only one who likes Kai's voice on b-sides more. I like his title voice too but his b-side voice is so soft and angelic.

In my 6 years of listening to various kpop groups (I'm seriously an epitome of a multifandom stan lol), I've listened to so many different albums from so many artists and I have to say that Exo have one of the best, if not THE best discography in all of kpop. I keep coming back to all of their albums and I never have to skip because there's no song (even ballad) that bores me to the point that I need to skip. They also have best harmonies in their songs, they just sound perfect together. Also, their vocal line is so damn strong. Baekhyun is my favorite kpop vocalist, I could listen to him all day every day. Exo has no "filler" B sides in their albums, all songs that they put have a purpose and are worthy of listening on repeat. So many groups nowadays have a lot of those "filler" songs that don't fit the album at all and aren't interesting. Exo has consistency when it comes to high quality albums. I hope they're gonna stay in this kpop world for a long time because I know for a fact that I won't get tired of them any time soon!

Their whole album is a masterpiece it literally goes from x-exo to exo not only with the sounds but with the lyrics too, which is so cool!! And the songs are soooo good huhuhu if you want more vocalist Chanyeol please listen to Yours!!!

Butterfly Effect is the type of song you’ll listen to even if you don’t like the chorus just so that you can get to the end of the song cuz let’s face it Butterfly Effect’s ending is (chef’s kiss) amazing. But even the chorus itself and literally the song as a whole is a dream. I love your channel, your reactions are top tier

All songs in the Obsession album perfectly fits to their concept EXO and X-EXO.. Although Obsession song is not a public fav, the whole album is unique.. even the songs progress from X-EXO to EXO if u check the details of lyrics.. the Album Starts with Obsession and Ends with Butterfly Effect.. Obsession ended with the lyrics 'Get away from me' and Butterfly Effect ended with the lyrics "Don't leave me'' which shows the songs progress from X-EXO to EXO ,meanings of the songs were changed.. and the particular song Jekyll is also unique because it has both EXO and X-EXO inside the song because the transition of the song is like slow and smooth to strong and agressive with means the collision between X-EXO and EXO

that awkward moment when your favourite songs on the album are ya ya ya and day after day LMAO

Day After Day is my fave on the album, the vocals and rapping are all *chefs kiss* and Chen harmonizing with Chanyeol during his rap is such a great moment for me

Chanyeol's vocals are insane and so underrated. I'm pretty sure he joined SM to be a vocalist but then started focusing more on rap later on. The other members have even joked about him taking their vocalist roles. He's so talented it's crazy

If you wanna hear more vocalist Chanyeol you should check out his collab with Lee Hi and Raiden, Yours! I’m glad his vocals are being noticed more ^^

Butterfly effect is perfect!

Chanyeol's singing voice is honestly something beautiful, rich, and pure. The OBSESSION album is honestly one of the better albums that EXO has put out. It sounds beautiful to me, and there really isn't a bad song on the album. Love your listening party videos, you do an excellent job of using descriptors and working out why the songs sound the way they do. Really, really appreciate it!

Butterfly effect is the perfect song to end the album

I really want you to listen to Chen's first solo album "April, and a flower". But it's full of ballads, so I don't know if you like it :( I'm not a ballad person but every song made me cry like there's no tomorrow. Besides, I also thought about recommending Baek's but it has R&B style 😂

Exo can do anything at this point in their career. They're so talented and try out different things that it brings me joy to listen to their music. Obsessesion is such a well thought-out album with songs switching from x-exo to exo. Not to be biased, but they make the best music in kpop. I agree with day after day, but even that song I can enjoy because of their incredible vocals. I seriously think their music is always top tier.

You listening to Butterfly Effect is a big mood kadkksdk. It has been my favorite song ever since I first listened to the album. Then when Chanyeol explained the deeper meaning of the song, I loved it even more 🥺 It’s an underrated masterpiece. Thank you for appreciating it!

This whole album is a GEM! Everytime I listen to Obsession my favourite song changes. I think it depends on mood but I'm always up for listening to all the songs in Obsession, has no skips! All EXO albums really have no skips but I feel like Obsession is on another level, idk how EXO just keeps topping their albums it's amazing really! the songs that I would call my fave that I definitely look forward fo listening in Obsession are Baby You Are & Butterfly Effect

You didn't like Day after day but that was my lullaby from the day I listened up til now. EXOs discography, well actually SMs group has the best discography. All of their b-sides on the albums are so well put up that it fits every album.

This album is no joke, I'm so incredibly blown away wow. Every track is so different and beautiful in it's own way. I can't believe I haven't listened to it sooner. Thank you for this listening party PD! I appreciate it, and love that I get to experince new music through it!

I really love this album! It's right up there with DMUT for me. And yeah, Butterfly Effect doesn't quite beat Gravity for me, but it's a close second (well, I also love Peter Pan....yeah, I know). So, Jekyll, Baby You Are, Groove, and Butterfly Effect are my super loves on this album. But I like every song!!! EXO just CAN'T make a bad song/album, in my opinion.

Vocalist Chanyeol stands out so much in this album for me. Especially his vocals in Jekyll !! sooo good

Chanyeol's vocal is what made me fall for him and the fact that he is the main rapper is a cherry on the top. He has improved so much throughout the years. Hearing him is like a blessing. I really love this whole album. I listened to this on loop the first time i heard it.

The more i listene to this album the more i love it, i remember when it first came out i was lukewarm about it, but after a few listens i became obsessed with it. I have to say that my top 3 songs are: 3/ Butterfly effect: i don’t know how to explain the feelings it ignites but its all about nostalgia and because I’ve been with these guys for the last 7 years it just makes me reminisce all the times I’ve been with them. 2/ Obsession: i love how it is weirdly addicting and the flow to it is just amazing, totally EXO’s best title song. 1/ Groove: this song is just a masterpiece, it is so unique and so enticing i can never get tired of listening to it, their voices are purely heavenly and good lord the rap part is just the cherry on top, not to mention the blend of the flute and their voices which was a genius idea. You can't imagine the rollercoaster ride of emotions I felt when you finally did a listening party and then was taken down by sm. This album really is the best of all time for me. Every song is superior. When you started comparing Gravity with Butterfly Effect ... I was just overwhelmed, we knew Gravity is your most favorite EXO song of all time but I'm so happy, this is the proper recognition Butterfly Effect deserves. Thank you so much PD.

exo are so diverse, they've done so many different colors and genres by now that the only two things in common between all of their songs are the insane vocals and the fact that they make songs that you have to pay full attention to when you're listening, you can't just play exo in the background as you go through your day 100% you won't get anything done because you're dancing 😂
