Red Velvet are seriously the B-Side queens of the world. I’ve listened to K-pop forever and no one has matched the consistency and variety of their discography.

IM CRYING I THOUGHT YOU WERE GOING TO HATE SASSY ME BUT THEN YOU WENT ON A RANT ABOUT HOW NOT MAKING THE SONG THE TITTLE TRACK WAS WRONG DJXJDJXJD

SM have often used Wendy's voice as doubling on Irene and Joys rapping, so technically she does rap in a lot of their songs. I guess they just don't want to give her too many parts in their songs in order to keep the distribution a little more even.

Sassy Me is that song, I can imagine the choreo, the MV and breaking the charts, I really love RBB but yes it was a mistake not making it the title track, the whole album is the definition of taste.

Honestly all the b-sides on this album are title song worthy and, as much as I love RBB, any of them would have been better. The diversity in this mini tho ugh I love Red Velvet.

As much as how great Sassy Me, I don't think its chorus is catchy or infectious enough to be made the title track. The vocal fry is the highlight of the track. It being relegated to a B-side is perfectly fine to me because Red Velvet is consistent in having stellar b-sides.

Wait that one comment- winter version of blue lemonade, I can see that! I really loved Butterfly, it's a pretty song. I think my favorites off the album are Butterfly, So Good and Sassy me. I liked all the tracks though, RBB grew on me and I have sometimes when I like to listen to it. Oh and the vocal fry lmao, Taeyong joined red velvet back in be natural lolol, I'm waiting for that nct listening party too. THANK YOU for the videos PD!

With the strong start to 2019, Sassy Me would have been a perfect comeback. It has that aggressive and unique feel with empowering lyrics. Yes it was my favorite song on the album, but I felt it was too strong for a middle track on a B-side. I hope they do make an MV for it when they release another full length album. It's so unique.

Butterflies: I didnt like it at first but I LOVE its light feel. Wendys cute voice worked SO well and Seulgi vocals are so powerful. Yeri also had that little mix too. So Good: My FAVORITE. The RNB. The Joy opener. The powerful Seulgi vocals. Yeri got some vocals. oof. Its Top 5 tracks imo Sassy Me: Probably my least favorite on this EP but I love it a lot because its SO different..the vocal frys are so in your face but sleek Taste: AH I love how every One got diff parts here i.e Wendys little rap. I felt the same way you did about Sassy Me. When I heard the song, I could envision the concept and styling as well as a sultry choreography that would SNAP. It really would have made for a fantastic title track. The only other song I felt the same about was You Better Know. When I first saw the short version of it on Inkigayo I was almost angry they didn't save it for a summer title track release in 2018.
