You should definitely listen to miracle musical, it's the same people from tally hall and some songs like The Mind Electric, Murders, Dream Sweet in Sea Major are really good!
Just a thing: The music video for turn the lights off is about a kid going through puberty that's scared of growing up The part where his arm turns into like a snake thing is his body going through changes the part where the girl turns into the monster is him thinking sexual thoughts about her And the part where he looks in the mirror and he turns into a monster is him not liking how he turned out
Ruler of everything is actually about the existential dread of time, juno is the human high pitched voice while time is the deep one and those "weird" lyrics was a back and forth argument between the two, it's really great
@@herrdoktortenma_ Mhm, originally released as a solo demo by the rhythm guitarist and vocalist of the band, Joe Hawley. Later released in an album by Musical Miracle, which he led alongside the drummer, Ross Federman, and a major help to the group, Bora Koraca.
robb cantor, who was a part of tally hall, still does a lot of music! and it’s just as good; “I’m gonna win” has some of the actual lyrics of i think “&” as the chorus
im gonna win is repurposed from tally hall, it was an old song of theirs that also got rewritten by joe when they were still doing live shows. the original version is called “all of my friends”
WOOO TALLY HALL! This is fantastic :) I would love to see a part 2, and would also love to see you react to Miracle Musical (which was created by one of the members of Tally Hall!) Good Tally Hall songs: -& -Spring and a Storm -Never Meant to Know -Cannibal Miracle Musical songs: (Honestly, the entirety of the album is super cool if you listen to it in order, but here are my favorites) -Isle Unto Thyself -Murders -Labyrinth -The Mind Electric -Dream Sweet in Sea Major
@@iloveserjtankiann Nah, thr Best way of Listening to Dream Sweet in Sea Major is before You Go to Sleep, Closing Your Eyes while Listening to 7 Minutes of Bliss is Fucking Awesome
If you want more fever dream like music videos of theirs to listen to may i suggest, Banana Man Two Wuv Those 2 songs have lovely music videos, and hey why not just toss in Welcome To Tally Hall just because it's a really unique song
if you do another stream listening to them, you should definitely do Welcome to Tally Hall, Never Meant to Know, Spring and Storm, and Cannibal edit: also "&", is such a banger as well
Ahh nice!! Tally Hall has been my comfort band since maybe freshman year of high school, they were one of the first bands I feel like I discovered "by myself" so it's always felt so personal. And the songs are bops!! I honestly find myself listening to a lot of like, earlier 2010ish music because for some reason I feel like there was a lot more being weird/having fun rather than trying to sound polished from the start. Like the Ruler of Everything music video, just playing around with the resources you have and putting it up on RU-vid for people to go "wtf?". I kind of miss that age of the internet, although the spirit is still around in some ways.
I was vibing extra hard to the bidding and got up and started stomping my feet to it and my mom walked in to ask a question and i had to act like there was nothing wrong with me dancing in absolute silence since i had my earphones on, just thought i'd share
Other good Tally Hall songs & Cannibal Haiku Welcome to Tally Hall Never Meant to Know Taken for a Ride A Lady Just Apathy Spring and a Storm 2 Wuv And yes Miracle Musical is very awesome Edit: Yes, Hidden in the Sand is a TikTok sound
you should listen to bill wurtz, his best songs are: "La De Da De Da De Da De Day Oh", "And The Day Goes On", "Might Quit", "Here Comes The Sun", and "Fly Around"
the background for marvin's marvelous mechanical museum is an actaul place with (as the name implies) all sorts of fully working vintage coin operated machines among other marvelous attractions the name of the band is also a the name of a mall they hung out at
Got recommended this after watching the Will Wood reaction video, Tally Hall was so god damn underrated when I found em and I’m so glad to see them getting so much of recognition that they deserve
i feel like the evolution of the music i listen to is like: 2020: Panic at the Disco, AJR, 21 Pilots (brought in by my sister), 2021: Omori, Jack Stauber, Cavetown, LoveJoy, Lemon Demon 2022: Mother Mother, Tally Hall, Happy Fits, LoveJoy, Lemon Demon this all stemmed from Frozen 2 with into the unknown sung by Panic at the Disco during the credits XD how'd we get here lol a lot of these songs have come and gone in cycles over and over again
I feel Like Good Day, Greener, Welcome to Tally Hall, and Banana Man are more Fitting Choices for a Tally Hall Beginner (Ruler of Everything was also a Great Starting Song)
Hidden in the sand is such a nice, relaxing song. I like to listen to it in my car, sometimes, when I'm depressed. I could fall asleep to it in those moments. F for the mice
Tally hall is one of my absolute favorite bands, I love Fate of the Stars in the good & evil album! It is a longer song, but after you listen to it over 200 times, it honestly doesn’t feel that long haha
Ruler of Everything is full of metaphors and has some lines that we still don’t know the meaning of, but pretty much it’s about a conversation between man and time, and how, in the end, mechanical hands (time) dictate the universe and eventually lead to it’s demise, if it wasn’t obvious already it was written during an existential crisis.
Tally hall is one of my top 3 favorite bands that i cant choose from. They would be my favorite if they did another album or had more music under that name to have them beat out those other two bands. They are a VERY special band regardless of controversies. I have to admit, when i heard all of these songs i had this wave of nostalgic overtones like i had heard it before, long ago as a very young child where i was too young to remember what i was listening to when getting my mind blown. It has a timeless sound, and it isnt possible i heard it as a kid. I was born in the 90s. And NO theyre on hiatus. First song i heard was turn the lights off which was on a staticing radio. Shazam couldnt make it out. Remembering hearing it in my first car driving back home from my high school soccer game and connecting the dots 6 years later was jarring when i had my hair blown back by the bidding.
I’ll say it once I’ll say it a thousand times definitely check out autoheart as well. Banger songs such as I know that he loves me, lent, and hungover in the city of dust.
Im sure others are saying this but the songs are intentionally laid out to be listened in album order. Might be worth listening to the albums as a whole.
YESSSS Now see Miracle musical!!! Well atleast after seeing more Tally Hall like Spring and the Storm and Banana Man, and... well, '&'. Also you have issues with audio leveling it seems, and you turn down your youtube video instead, why not your streaming softwares audio output? So you can hear it when it's low? Sorry I just was noticing that lol
I love Don't hug me I'm scared and Tally Hall. You are a cultured man! You should listen to Miracle Musical by one of tally Hall's members! Please check it out. You will not regret it.🙏
Watching you watch the last one was so funny as a tool fan 😂😂 Edit: its also supposed to be like deified time, kinda a god, but its hard to understand to be honest
You should listin to Tom waits, mostly his song "underground" aka that one song from robots, he also has some other good stuff and a generally unique voice
Could you mayve listen to hawaii: part II or ride the cyclone? They're really good musicals. The mind electric, dream sweet in sea major, space age bachelor man, and the ballad of jane doe are songs i highly recommend
