WOW my favorite band!!! If you are interested in more of their artwork (actually less popular but they are like hidden gems) i'd recommend listening to Cannibal, Fate of the Stars and songs from their demo albums. Many of the band members actually have their own solo projects and did collab after Tally Hall (for Miracle Musical and solo projects), wich are very good too!!
There’s an artist called BLUNDER that maybe you’ ll enjoy! He’s not very famous but he makes great music:) if you do listen to him don’t listen to the top 3 since it’s with another person but listen to his songs he did on his own!:)))
Wow. Didnt expect you to listen to my favorite band. The people on the band has made other things after it went on hiatus (the hiatus never stopped) like the band miracle musical which has the entire band except one of them. they made Hawaii part II and it is an experience on top of being my favorite tally hall related thing. Rob canter (the main singer) made two songs (shia labeouf live and Christian bale is at your party) on top of making the album not a trampoline. Joe hawley (the guy Who made some of the more experimental songs and Hawaii part II) also made an album called Joe hawley Joe hawley.
Fun fact, Turn The Lights Off is about the fears and challenges of puberty. The girl turning into a monster is a symbol of his first sexual thought, and him becoming a monster symbolises hair growing in unknown places.
YES! If you want to listen to more tally hall please listen to 1-13 + ruler of everything (13 is the intro for ruler of everything) 2-hymn for a scarecrow 3-& 4-fate of the stars
If you end up liking tally hall you should listen to the miracle musical, I love it even more than tally hall and the lead singer is the singer from tally hall. It is even more of an acid trip, but more 50s like playing in the sand exept for one
Glad you enjoyed! I think why they're so good at harmonies is because they're Beatles fans, especially Joe (red tie). Could you add Red Vox to the list? They're not too well known outside of Spotify plays, but I think you'd love them if you like psychedelic stuff.
You should listen to Miracle Musical. Four of the five guys who were in Tally Hall created Miracle Musical, and it sounds like a more modern and slightly darker version of the stuff they do here.
Oh, If you love Tally Hall you should give Chonny Jash a listen, he covers loads of Tally Hall music and Miracle Musical music (YOU ALSO NEED TO LOSTEN TO MIRACLE MUSIC IF YOU HAVEN’T)
if you liked Tally Hall i recommend listening to Miracle Musical, a side project made by Joe Hawley which includes 4/5 of the original tally hall members (including Joe himself)
woahhhh super neat to see you checking tally hall out!! i’ve been a fan of tally hall for YEARS now and they’re definitely up there in my favorite bands lol. i absolutely recommend checking out more of their music, especially ruler of everything, &, hymn for a scarecrow, and the trap! also, if you end up enjoying tally hall, i STRONGLY recommend checking out miracle musical, which is an album one of the members did as a solo project that is easily one of my favorite albums of all time!! also also, you’d prolly like the band rainbow kitten surprise, and dear and the headlights!! both of them are two of my favorite bands of all time and they have a really neat style of music, very indie/folk/rock ^^ anyway, great video!! thanks for checking tally hall out, and if u end up checking out more of their stuff i hope you enjoy!
WAH YOU FIANLLY GOT LOS CAMPESINOS AMAZING I would suggest Avocado, Baby as a song rec! If you've enjoyed Tally Hall, try Miracle Musical, theyre a band consisting of Tally Hall members 👍I would suggest listening to their only album at whole at some point if you enjoy it, because it has an overarching story. And listen to more Tally Hall!!
I highly recommend Ruler of Everything, Spring and a Storm, Hymn for a Scarecrow, Fate of the Stars and & (ps: 13 is an opening to ruler of everything so listen to that before, it’s only 13 seconds long (and the 13th track on the album))
Sorry if this comment sent twice but you definitely should listen to the crane wives!! They have very vibey music and unique chords and instrumentals, plus their two vocalists have super powerful voices and the messages of their songs are very interesting and cool!! I haven't seen any channel like this listen to them and I'd love to see your take especially on their chords and stuff
i’m reading through the list right now and seeing ghost made me so excited! i cant wait until you react to them, like many others you might end up falling down the ghost rabbit hole (it’s great i just cant escape) but honestly discovering ghost is honestly one of the best things that’s happened to me 😭
for crywank you absolutely NEED to listrn to Privately Owned Spiral Galaxy, Lovejoy actually made a cover of this song and Wilbur covered the song quite alot on streams as well
If you don’t have it on you list (and I’m sorry because it’s already a big list!) you should do Rufus Wainwright! I absolutely adore his song Peaceful Afternoon. ALSO! Miracle Musical is also Talky Hall, it’s just a different project. I also recommend that! Can’t wait to finish this video! (Sorry for the long comment😅)
you should listen to miracle musical, theyre an offshoot of tally hall who have made an album which is my personal favourite akbum of all time its ge uienly so good, id reccomend you listen to the entire album since uts meant to be listened that way, great video
Tally hall is weird, especially since each member of the band has made albums and has their own spunk. The thing with their band is it is definitely a grab bag of different types of music so selecting a few songs really doesn't show their potential
i adore seeing people react to music i love and see them just nejoy themselves so much! If you are interested, once oyu've listened to most Tally Hall, i HIGHLY recommend Chonny Jash's "covers" of Tally Halls songs, plus his original album "The Gothic Whre or The Lyric Hunt"!
Hey man i HEAVILY recommend that you listen to mircale musical's album "Hawaii part II" including their hidden song "variations on a cloud" and tally hall member joe hawley helped make this album and it has great music and lore which had built its own fandom without trying
More Tally Hall would be amazing! I'd recommend these: 13 + Ruler of Everything (13 is basically an intro) & Banana Man They also worked on a side project called Hawaii Part II which is a concept album released under the name ミラクルミュージカル (Miracle Musical). I'd highly recommend it if you haven't seen it. I'd recommend these from it: Black Rainbows Murders (POPULAR TIKTOK AUDIO) Time Machine Dream Sweet in Sea Major Variations on A Cloud (a single that has musical aspects of Hawaii Part II and other Tally Hall music)
it made me happy seeing how happy you got during the bidding. idk your channel, this is the first video i've seen of it, but it's amazing to see how much joy someone can get from a simple song :)
you should listen to the album hawaii part ii it's a project mainly by one of the people in tally hall and i think a few others in the band also joined in. it's super good imo tho u should listen to it all in one session. it doesn't make as much sense if you just listen to one song.
I love Hymn for a scarecrow ,a lady ,fate of the stars, rule of everything ,& two wuv (there basically all my favs other THAN be born) (I’m a big fan of them & they’re side projects) It’s also funny how Joe was the lead singer for the songs he listened to (I’m 99% sure)
hiii!! i absolutely adore tally hall and it’s always rlly cool to see people’s reactions to their music! here are a few of my recommendations if you wanna listen to more :D - greener (MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE, super underrated) - welcome to tally hall (serves as an intro to the band so it’s good if you’re interested in learning more abt the members) - two wuv (not much to say abt this one, it just slaps) - haiku (another really underrated one, the little comments from the audience make me laugh every time and the meter of the lyrics is really cool imo) - 13 + ruler of everything (ruler of everything is an absolute classic, and 13 serves as a sort of intro to it) - never meant to know (again not much to say abt this one) - & (one of my favorites, there’s just smth abt the vocals that makes me happy) - cannibal (such a bop, not much else to say abt it lmao) if you wanna narrow that down to a few songs my absolute top picks out of those are greener, welcome to tally hall, ruler of everything, and cannibal :D
AHHH as a tally hall fan, I recommend a more popular song of theres, “The ruler of everything” which I feel like encapsulates the band fairly well and sort of matches the vibe of most of their songs.
The way you reacted to hearing each song, the head bopping, the analysis, it made me feel like i was listening to the songs for the first time again with you. Great video. Glad you liked the music!! Tally Hall is my fav band rn.
The Bidding is torture everytime i listen to it but only bc I remember seeing a really fucking good edit on tiktok a while ago that used this song and i cant find it anymore. I cant even remember what the edit was of for the life of me (some sort of anime i think?), but i just remember it was absolute peak. (Edit: IT WAS FUCKING FNAF!!!! AND YEA ITS GOOD, ITS BY nightmarishtongue)
Even tho it’s cliche the bidding is deff my fave tally hall song lol! If you didn’t know, a few of the members have a side band called Hawaii pt ii was INTENSE lore and crazy music
hi @JLAndersonMusic i was gonna ask how did you not get a copyright strike on your livestream experience cover cus i am trying to make one and it keeps getting copyrighted even after adding credits
Split it up into parts. I had to upload Choker/Stress up to Holding Onto You as a separate video, then everything up to Heathens x Trees as a separate, and then the final chunk. You can't upload the entire thing in one chunk. RU-vid doesn't care about if you give credits.
Hey the band aren’t together but they all have made music by themselves, Joe hawlys (red tie) haiwii part 2 is just great, and robs (I believe yellow tie but not sure)music is great like I’m gonna win.
This is so good, I’m definitely gonna check some more of them out You should also add Legbone to your list of music! It’s a tiny punk band that absolutely rocks
