Dear friends,
these two pieces are not the most difficult in my repertoire, but the recording conveys my musical signature - enjoy! The Consolations from Franz Liszt are "Six pensées poétiques pour le piano", dating from 1849/50. Although they have always been very popular amongst his works, they are not so often encountered as a complete set. The end of the 1st Consolation is marked with "attacca", meaning that the 1st and the 2nd Consolation should be played in conjunction.
