i know Im asking randomly but does someone know a method to get back into an instagram account..? I was stupid forgot my account password. I appreciate any assistance you can offer me.
Cziffra, a hidden gem. Seem to have been purposely made distant from Horowitz. To me, he is the original piano virtuoso of that era. Just today, I made this extraordinary discovery. What a treasure that was unfortunately never fully unveiled.
@@ethanli2313 - and that's exactly what I said in a sarcastic tone - because Ambika stated something ridiculously obvious. Am I still not clear enough?
Best timing I've ever heard in my entire life, I'm a violinist and even I can hear what difference there is between him and other classical pianists. It's not unbelievable, I knew it should exist.
Comparing this to other recordings you learn two things: 1. How good Cziffra is. This is magical. Completely different from one of those people who are just proud to get through it. 2. They don't make pianos like this anymore. The pianos Cziffra played were heavier, fuller, deeper and had a lot more character, nuances and power. Today all the pianos are just made to make you sound polished and clean even if you suck... No soul anymore.
It's because of the rise of modern music that lose the sound of "timbre" and pianos became more cheap and more bright for it. Pianos today also have to be used for modern music. I prefer the sound of the older versions as they sound more rich and deep.
Just found this one (BIG Cziffra fan) and what a Delight! Cziffra is Monumental and by far the best Liszt performer. It's a shame so few people are aware of him. EDIT 4 Years Later: I suspect there is a "spiritual" connection between C & L. When he plays L, the performance becomes Other-Worldly/Magical.
Few people, is widly regarded as one of the best piano performers of the previous century. Next, to Richter, Horowitz, Rubinstein, Gould, Gilles, Bolet, Aurru, Kempff well and a lot of other of course
Aside from Cziffra's violating the dynamics in the score, it is my favorite interpretation of this piece. Warp speed fast and entertaining, this is the kind of style I like for a short piece like this, especially for a Gnomenreigen.
Those 16 losers don't have any recognition for Liszt's inability to make a bad song or Cziffa's insane technical ability. They probably listen to this crap that most popular artists are burping out nowadays.
@521Anson oh i definitely like his playing ,actually i believe he is one of the best in interpreting liszt, what i said previously was sarcasm, because i said 'according to your judgement '. Cziffra is undoubtedly master :)
