I love this. Proud as a peacock and he had every right to be. People forget also he had experienced extreme hardships, poor childhood and had been a prisoner of war. This was his freedom.
I respect Budapest citizens very much who remembered and supported Cziffra after he was released from forced labor. I believe many Hungarian people are proud of this unparalleled excellent musician.

Cziffra è senza dubbio il più adatto a capire lo spirito di tali Rapsodie, essendo di origine zigana sicuramente conosce i motivi riportati in questi brani..

I like his improvisations...it only proves that he has really specific approach to the music, and loves music...Liszt was from absolutely different era...some of today's "musicians" aren't musicians as Liszt or Cziffra was...So big pity that we don't have Cziffras and Liszts eternally! We always must wait for new prodigy...
it is SAD that we cant ever witness the great Listz himself play his Masterpiece. Imagine how awesome it'd be if videocam was invented during that time.
I wish this was shot at 30 frames per second, then we would be able to enjoy and admire all the more his near flawless execution of this wonderful piece of music!!!
@@Bohh574 , che frasi cretine. Cziffra sulla tastiera ci ha lasciato l'anima. Listz meglio di così non e' possibile. Nessuno l'ha superato, ma nonne' solo un fatto di tecnica, in Cziffra c'era dell'altro, come nella Callas, come in David Oistrach..come quelli li.
