Bellissima interpretazione di questa opera difficilissima da eseguire. Alessandro è veramente brillante: la qualità del suono e la tecnica sono di altissimo livello: magnifiche le note ripetute e le ottave chromatiche ed anche i salti della mano sinistra! Un alternativa alla versione mitica di Cziffra, complimenti Alessandro!!!
As stonished I am from this young man´s playing , I really am imposed by the composition and the musicality, fantasy and variety Liszt had when he composed it.
Cziffras interpretation is unsurpassed. The bloody fact that he improvised through the recording adding on top of the original notes to begin with is just ridiculous. And no one that I have yet come a crossed have that "natural" and incarnate master feel to him.
A thousand apologies mister Karlo, truly!! One must know that I am not biased to where I search to listen to multiple recordings of the highest masters on the same piece.

But he also skipped a bunch of bits in that recording. Maybe it was to fit on a shellac disc or something but he skipped some of the most difficult parts. His improvisations were nice. Sometimes they made the passages more difficult and other times, they seemed to make it easier. This is an excellent rendition that seems, to me, to stay faithful to the score. Variety is good

They're probably deep in thought or awestruck at the awesomeness that is going on. It's so "badass" that they are kept thinking deeply about it. Happens sometimes.
