This is the 3rd day of Literacy Week, Book Character Day.
Friday was the highlight of Literacy Week - Dress up as Your Favorite Character Day. On Friday morning we had a big costume parade where kids got to dress up as their favorite characters of a book and present and explain their favorite book to others. It helps to deepen children's understanding of the characters, as well as expands their knowledge by listening to other people's character stories.
