@@brsvideos8143 the world we knew from 10-20 years ago is ending. We are entering a new dark age, and no one seems to care. Its not called being "edgy", its called apathy. "Apathy and tolerance are the virtues of a dying nation." - Aristotle
Gordon is always on the run, He never has time to think. I imagine when he really has time to process everything that has happened to him he'll probably sob
Oh yeah? Well what about me? I literally survived a VTOL crash, barely found my squadmates and i have to shoot and kill my ass off because of those fucking bastards while gordon actually has breaks to think because of multiple puzzles he needs to solve in order to procceed
There’s a lot of people out there who look like Gordon freeman. Just be white, have brown(ish) hair, grow some facial hair, slap on a pair of glasses and you pretty much look 80% like Gordon freeman. I find this cool because now I have a reason to be proud of my glasses
is it dumb to want to cry at this? this video putting the model of freeman, as realistic in its alyx rendition can be, and putting the expiriences he has gone through onto the series on what is brilliantly portrayed as a real man. The grime and soot aswell as blood on his face. His fumbling of a gun, and science coat. Half life in its entirety takes place over the course of a few days to him, and he went from a crystal test to fighting for his limb not just hours but days straight against zombies combine and the like just to live. just to fucking live in a reality where everything he once knew was destroyed.
@@nuxbronson I'm saying gf life has models, of what freeman *could* look like as a real person, but that detail is only reached here with a human actor
In hl2 when Gordon shows up to black mesa east he gets a moment of peace after literally days of constant adrenaline. I wish they would have just spent a moment to show Gordon taking a moment to rest as it's crazy how long he goes running on pure adrenaline without basic necessities, and yes I do know it's possible but it would have been so easy and made it way more believable since he's basically running nonstop for over a week straight
@@anthonylarson60true, I also like to think that while Gordon was "stored in stasis" by the Gman between Half Life 1 and 2 that he was "revitalized" in a sense, so in Half Life 2 when you start for Gordon it'd feel like he just woke up after a good long nap and had a good hearty breakfast before stepping on that train in the beginning of HL2 😂, though thats just pure head-canon, for all we know it could've been instantaneous for Gordon as if he blinked and those 20 years passed in an instant and he got literally zero rest between HL1 and 2, and only got some sleep in 2 and its Episodes anytime he got knocked out for a period of time in the story...poor Gordon 😅
@@theleonpasta7336 being unconscious isn’t like sleeping, to sleep you want to or your body forces you to, being unconscious is totally unintentional and very bad for you as it can easily result in brain injury’s from an outside force like falling. So safe to say Gordon hasn’t intentionally slept once during the games.
I REALLY like the idea of Gordon being a mute purely from trauma, while it wouldn't explain why he didnt talk prior to the black mesa incident it would be a valid reason why he's a mute like 99% of the time.
Wasn't Gordon a 27 year old with a phD and working in a secret government facility? Honestly that shit's more impressive than him fighting the combine.
Know it’s been two months but I wanna put my cent in, Bryan Cranston would be amazing for this role, hell, even the opening line of the edit sounds like something he would’ve said in breaking bad. He could totally nail the delivery of Gordon Freeman, however if a movie were to come out I’d want this guy to play Gordon because he’s proved that he’s amazing at the role already
