J B Weld = 2 part duct tape, and works great. If duct tape won't work, JB weld will. And it's not only fuel proof, it's also fool proof.

No mention of the oil reservoir whether it was full or had to add to it. no life jackets or check for current boat licensing. You guys are lucky the game warden or the sheriffs office didn’t check y’all..

What is it with motors that run excellent in the yard and the second they hit the water, they hard to start. I've literally went from yard to water in 5 minutes and had this problem and it's every time. Maybe the water pressure on the exhaust?

If you actually hold the nut part of the spark plug and push it against the block you don’t get a shock just don’t hold the lead or the cap.

I owned a 16' ft. Mckee Just like this one , had a 90 HP Evinrude on it. Great boat but rough ride due to flay bottom ! Had to replace windshields & console twice due to stress cracks. McKee replaced at NO charge .

Unbelievable, if I had brought that thing every coil pack would have to be replaced and the rats would have ate every wire into and the carbs would be junk! Don’t forget to put the plug in the transom! 😂😂😂

Awesome video hank ,just love when tubers get together to do collaborations, i remember those motors when they first came out in the 80's , a buddy of mine has worked in the Marina/boating industry i guess over 30 yrs now and the Yamaha Rep said these motors were better torque engines than Merc's were and he was right and dead reliable and would cruise all day at almost wide open and not bad on fuel for a 150hp and you did i bet half as much service as any Mercury outboard and my buddies boss sold everyone he got in the first 2 yrs and he also sold and serviced Mercury and they threatened to take his franchise away if he did not stop selling Yamaha, told them to go-ahead , it never happened he still sells and services both and does allot more tot the Mercs than the Yamaha's they are just better motors, thx again Hank

Me and my cousin wet out to his dads lake place a few years back got bored and got an old boat similar to that running dropped in the water didnt well I said to him we need to plug those up he said hell naaaa those will be fine I told him hold on before we left the dock I went to the my truck grabbed what was left of a role of flex tape jumped on the boat and off we went I think we got about a quarter of a mile across the lake when all of the sudden water was up to my ankles in tha back of the boat I grabbed that flex tape grabbed my knife cut to squares of the tape slapped them on the holes and as far as I know it's been two years and all the do is fish out of that boat cause it's so beat up....and my flex tape is still covering those holes two years later.

Mighty kind to help others grow their channels. I have watched them and both just to silly. I surely hope that possum met a death becoming rodents. I had one get into my new pontiac and it ate my seats out before morning.... don't care for them at all
