Well played mate, I've read through a few comments and me personally think it's great 👍 Shows growth in a channel and its completely normal. Knocking out gardening content this time of year would be tricky so it's a no brainer! Well played mate and Happy Christmas to you and your family. Look forward to your next video pal 👍
I'm sure you've learned a bit since this was posted but two things I noticed was that the chain looked dull on both of your saws, 5 minutes sharpening will save an hour of struggling. Takes a bit of practice but an essential skill to master, all you'll need is something like an oregon file+guide (about £10) and a bar vice (also around £10), don't forget to check the depth gauges (the nub in front of the tooth) every couple of sharpenings. The second thing I noticed was that you used the tip of the bar on occasions and you should be very cautious when doing so, if it's going to kick back then it's going to happen with a dull chain while cutting with the tip. Not a massive problem with low power saws and a strong grip but the consequences aren't worth the risk, nothing like a chainsaw flying at your face to make you rethink your life choices!
Another point for a popular channel : Try to avoid the tempting habit of holding a working 2-hand chainsaw above shoulder level (as you do at 4 mins 20 secs)....even if it's light & easy to do so.
@@TheGreyGardener1990 Get yourself on a basic chainsaw course. I found it really helpful & also made me realise how much I didn't know that I thought I knew!
But who exactly are "Litheli"? Try finding an address on their website! Turns out they're part of a big Chinese outfit based in the city of Ningbo, called Zheijang Litheli Technology Company Ltd. They kept that quiet didn't they! They have a small marketing base in California too. Modern life...confusing, isn't it!
Really? I didnt get paid for anything. They said would you like to review this and I said only if I can be honest. They let me keep it afterwards but certainly no payment. When you do youtube, it's difficult to keep churning out video after video so when something new presents itself, thats in keeping with the channel and as long as I remain sincere, I don't see a problem. Its a shame you've taken offence to it mate
I get asked to do all sorts of promotional stuff on a weekly basis but turn 90% of it down as some things don't sit comfortably with me or aren't in keeping with the channel.
@@TheGreyGardener1990 I've not taken offence. I totally get how difficult it is churning out new content all the time. I also realise how time consuming it must be. Finally. I know how easy it must be to give in to companies who offer you freebies. After all. Who doesn't love a freebie? But for me. Personally speaking, it really cheapens a channel and usual makes me unsubscribe. As I don't want to watch RU-vid with its constant interruptions you get these days for adds only to tune in to a channel and be sold more stuff. But its your channel and your call. This is just my personal view.
@@funkyduckproductions.8844 that's fine and your view is your view mate. I've turned a hell of a lot of freebies down believe me. Obviously the video wasn't for you, you can't please each viewer but I'm hoping someone who is in the market for a battery chainsaw may come accross the video and find it useful, just as the video was intended to be.
