Lithops is a genus of succulent plants from the Aisov family.
Currently, more than 30 species of this genus are distinguished. It occurs from the sandy and stony deserts of Namibia, South Africa and Botswana.
The aerial part consists of two intergrowth thick leaves separated by a shallow slit, from which the flower spike and new leaves appear.
Size up to 5 cm in height and width. Flowers are white or yellow (occasionally orange), 2.5 - 3 cm in diameter, sometimes fragrant, in the culture blooms in August (sometimes earlier) - November.
