We are taught to see plants as stationary, while animals move. Quite a different story when you see time lapse plants dancing and reaching around like this. Thanks for sharing this.

I might be wrong but wouldn't "stationary" mean plants don't move relative to the ground? They don't walk like animals. So they *are* stationary or something like sedentary?

I was never taught to see plants as stationary, they ARE stationary, their stem is stationary, wherever the seed germinates is where that plant will stay and grow. Sorry to say that their roots going downward and their stems growing upward are not considered 'moving'....

amazing to witness the biology in the dirt "breath" with each watering. As the life in the dirt drinks and swells the dirt grows, and as it dehydrates the dirt recedes.
