What is unique about Eurovision is that if a country wants to stand out, they need to kind of "sense" what has been less popular on ESC in the past years and send an entry that's very different. That's sometimes your best shot, although very risky because you can be left misunderstood. I think that's what Lithuania may have done here. I don't even remembering a Eurovision entry with such a jazzy - quirky yet elegant disco vibe. It's something new. And it's high quality for sure - the voice, the artist, everything feels so genuine and not fake. I'm really curious to see how this will do in ESC. Its one of the performances I'm most excited about. Which way will it be taken by Europe? We'll have to see! My own experience with the song is similar to yours. I listened and didn't know if it was my kind of music, but I couldn't take my eyes off her the entire 3 minutes :D then I found myself thinking about this song later that week, and... I've now played it dozens of time, it gets better and better :D I just wanna drink a martini and smoke a long cigarette while listening to it.
It's such an amazing and stunning song, I absolutely love it and it is definitely in my top 3, easily! *Talk about "raising the roof in the most quiet, calm yet sensual and seductive way."* An absolute gem, and even though I am rooting for my own country Norway and Subwoolfer/Give That Wolf A Banana, which is more fun based and completely different. I would not be mad if this wins, because at least it would IMO be a highly worthy winner, no doubt about that. I absolutely love it, it's so incredibly good! This style of music is called Šlageriai.which translates to hitler lowercase "h" it's original Lithuanian music. Like an accent but for music. it's new to the world but very old for Lithuania. People let go of the style. but it's coming back.
to be honest, I really find this song pretty annoying for some reason, don't know why. Maybe the style isn't my taste, thumbs down from me, sorry lithuania
