I make something similar but I use a couple of tablespoons of rinsed barley instead of the noodles ( my Grandparents were Lithuanian ) and I use a cooked chicken carcass left over from dinner to make the stock.
Thank You Draugas (Lithuanian for friend) Barley sounds awesome! I save wing tips in the freezer to make stock after I have smoked the drum and the flats.
