I made this soup the other day following your recipe and it was a hit. It was so so delicious! 😋 I also enjoyed your presentation style as it is fun, quikey and directional.
I’m in the midst of making it now. Although I know how to make this already, sometimes I just want a different tasting recipe of favorites. My husband has a virus so hoping He will eat a small bowl. He needs nutrition and I’m tired of his whining! Lol brought him a drink last night, tripped over one of the dogs who wanted daddy’s ice tea and ended up breaking my foot. He’s doing more whining over the virus while I haven’t even told him my foot is broke. I’ll just plop the casted foot on top of his whiny ass!! Lol have to add we have 2 very spoiled Pomeranians (sisters) who Absolutely LOOOve ice tea!! Hence the falling over one sister. Who never budged whwn I hit the floor she was too busy drinking tea from the floor while her sister barked when I thudded and yelped, but she’s more mommies girl anyway!
@mazieg7072 viruses suck! Especially now a days. You should be happy to take care of him (if you love him) instead of saying he keeps whining like it's super annoying to you. I'm not trying to come off as hateful I just feel for him(I know this is way old) because I been dealing with nonstop viruses for past year and i wouldn't say I whine, it's just when you feel that bad it'd be nice for someone to care for you
Hi Natasha! This recipe was sooooooooo unbelievably good!!! I made it tonight and I got great reviews... And everyone said that this is the best soup they've ever had😋 Definitely family approved and I recommend it too! Can't thank you enough!!! You are amazing 😄
This soup was a big hit! Delicious! You have become my go to for every day meal prep and entertaining! You are awesome! Your videos are helpful and fun ☺️ Thank you, Natasha!
3:09 I watched this potato drop 10 times. That's one of the best camera tricks I've seen you guys do. I'm stumped as to how seamless you make it look. That was great.
this trick is also possible irl, to do this cut your potatoes in to cube, but do not disrupt shape of potato. then simply, pick up and drop as she has, and it can work this way. since potatoes is very wet they will stick together after cutting. i do this also because it is fun
They do this trick all the time with all different kinds of food so just a neat visual for us and good editing skills on their part :) who doesnt love a good transition hehe
You Suck At Cooking also does transitions like this and lots of crazy editing for his cooking videos, should you like more content like that. He goes for more deadpan humor and surreal concepts but enjoyable.
After drooling over this for days, I finally made it. I used my favorite spices, and added turmeric at the end to achieve the yellow color. Absolutely delicious...thanks so much for the idea!
YUM! Nice to see you young lady cook like I have for over 50 years. I've always enjoyed being creative with cooking/baking, I learned from the best my Mom (RIP). She was an amazing Mother, cook, baker, etc. My family was lucky to have her in our lives. She had always wanted to be a Mother, and she was to seven of us. She made her dreams come true, how many of us can say that. Thank you for sharing these recipes. I'll have to try some. P.S. What make of range are you cooking on in this video?
I’m sure you miss her but it’s good that you have thise good memories to look back to. You can see the kitchen tools that I use here on my Amazon affiliate shop www.amazon.com/shop/natashaskitchen
@@Natashaskitchen Thank you, yes I do miss my Mom, and yes, I have amazing memories of her. In the kitchen, where she loved to be cooking/baking, is a special memory, much like you are creating for your family. We'll be renovating our home in the next year, so, the range you are using caught my eye, it is currently not available, but, at least now I know it's a Thermador. Thanks again.
Natasha is so bubbly and cute. Her family probably never has the problem of getting tired of the same meals. My husband and kids are like "this again?" But I have added a few favorites into the rotation from watching her videos. Everyone needs to try her seasoned pork tenderloin!
I made this soup for the first time.... this was so easy, and very delicious! It's a comfort food and I will be adding this to my list of Favorite recipes from Natasha.
I joke you not I made her other recipe two hours ago but with biscuits and was absolutely to die for!!!! Now I am scrolling and see this about to premier.
OMG - the best soup EVER!! Made it two weeks ago and I am making it again today. Please try this - you will not be disappointed. I gave a bowl to my next door neighbor and she is still talking about it!
So 7 months ago I found you in the kitchen making this soup. The next day I made it for the 1st time. Since then I've lost track of how many times I've made this. I've had 3 special requests for this by ladies groups my wife spends time with. Sometimes I've made this when I knew my wife was out of town so I can have the whole pot. Of course I've tweaked it just a smidge, removed the mushrooms (by popular request), no harm done. My use of chicken stock over chicken broth is preferred, Sometimes more corn, or more taters, or more peas, just depending on what happens to be in the house. This recipe is hard to wreck, I've tried, no luck. Just about anything I do that is close to your instructions come out edible, often delicious. So thanks for another soup recipe. I now have 4 soup recipes I can throw together without reference to the card. My next soup to tackle is clam chowder. I would love to see what you say about making it. You continue to make me laugh. Thank you for that. Life is grim enough without bringing it into the kitchen.
thank you so much for this recipe, the soup turned out perfect, my daughter is sick and there is nothing better than a comfort food like Chicken Soup..so creamy and delicious
I love when you say WE ..... That means you include your dear husband as well, and that's so nice of you because even though we don't see him often he is so important to your channel/ website and your social medias as well, you guys are AWESOME!!! Thanks for another AMAZING recipe, I never would've thought that I can make this type of soup without the crust. 🤯 Never even tried to make it to be honest. 🤤 yummy yum!
I made a whole pot of this on the weekend and it lasted me 3days. It's so delicious! I ate mine with sourdough bread toast and it's just divine! It tasted even better on the 3rd day! Will definitely make again!
I just made some of this today. I thought the temps outside would be cooler, and felt this would be great for a cool fall day. It's a bit warmer than I had hoped, but this dish is AWESOME. It's still on the stove, but I snuck a bite or two (or three). This one is a keeper. Lots easier than a regular pot pie, but since I'm not supposed to eat breads and crusts, it's PERFECT
I will use a gluten-free flour or tapioca starch or potato starch as a thickener, as I am sensitive to gluten. Thanks for this recipe! I bought supplies for making a chicken soup, today, and didn’t buy potatoes or mushrooms for use in this one! Will make it tomorrow, instead!!!
Hi Natasha, i just did this soup.and had a plate, although here the temperatures are sky high, i really enjoyed it. So good. Will definitely do it in wintertime ❤️
Great winter soup. Came out perfectly and tasty. My table of young adults raved as they ate. Served a hearty kale/apple/nut salad and rolls and bread. Tyvm!
My all-time favorite meal is a chicken pot pie, however my wife is not a crust fan! This recipe is absolutely perfect for us and the biscuit on the side satisfies MY need for a crust! Thanks Natasha!!
Thank you, Natasha, this soup is a keeper. I had to make a few small adjustments (oat milk instead of cream) and I doubled up the mushrooms and peas because I like both. Despite my tampering with your recipe, it still turned out great. Once this Covid thing is over and my sister can visit, I'll make it for her! Regards from California...
I made this the other night and it was so delicious, I was looking forward to having some the next day but my family beat me to it lol... Definitely will be making this again, Awesome recipe Natasha 😋
I made this today, and my family loves it. My mother in laws, and aunt asked the recipe. I just shared your page! Thank You!🙏 can’t wait to share this to my siblings.❤️
So I made the soup yesterday. Way easier to chop n slice ahead of time. I've always cooked that way, nice to know a pro agrees. The soup was fabulous. My wife is outta town, so the mice are playing...in the kitchen. I called my son and said "dinner in 20 minutes". He was there here in 15 (another bachelor, him by choice). The recipe makes a lot of soup, and we rejoiced in that. We were duly impressed. Whatta treat! So we gleefully had 2 bowls each and both of us had leftovers for today. I regaled him with stories of your antics and since you act like a long lost sister we enjoyed the tales. So, sis...thank you for your high energy video, this recipe (I'm building it again next week for the wife) and some good times. I'm sure I'm going to watch more... I've got to learn about your biscuits. My wife's family has an illustrious background in biscuits (they're from the south), so I'll let you know how yours measure up. The bar is pretty high, but if the soup is any indication you'll be hearing from me again. PS, Love the drumstick chomp while shredding the chicken. Gj
just made some...soooo delicious and full of flavour..I used fresh chicken breast cut in pieces, fried em and flavoured, then instead of celery and fresh carrots i used frozen mixed vegetables with carrots, brocollo & cauli..as I did not have enough stock I used 1 whole chicken bouillon in 4 cups of water which was fine and made the soup not too watery I think...Delicious!! This recipe is in my favorite dishes catalog..thanks Natasha as always.
Thank you for the recipe! We had this soup at a Boston Pizza while on vacation and fell in love with it. Unfortunately, none of our local restaurants served it. The family was over the moon when I made it tonight! A winner indeed! 👍🏾
Natasha,Natasha. Made this 7-26-23 This is so,so good. I did not use mushrooms but ma'am this will always be my go to chicken soup. I will use mushrooms next time. Thank You So Much for taking time out your day to give us these wonderful tasting recipes. I am definitely a fan of yours this is not my first recipe I have used several.
OH MY GOD!! Absolutely yummy! I just made it and had a bowl to my self before the rest of the family arrived to dinner! Could not stop my self eating a whole bowl :) thanks Natasha, that’s a recipe to keep 🥰
That looks amazing! Thank you for the mushroom tip about washing them. Thank you for the recipe so I do not need to write it out. Cannot wait to make it! 😁
Made this tonight, wish I could add a pic, I just added chili pepper powder.. and your herb lamb chops.. ugh best recipes on RU-vid!! Never fails! Thank you!
It’s hilarious you kept the “soup facial” line in, because that was fuckin funny. Lol I’m currently cutting all my veggies and chicken for this right now. Can’t wait until it’s done.
Looks amazing Natasha- Keep up your sense of humor as it goes a long ways! I'm going to make this for my wife tomorrow as I am the soup Nazi in our family. Blessings!
I made this soup for my daughter and family who have been sooooooooo sick for the past week plus😢my little grandson loved it so much that they had it for breakfast also❤️❤️❤️thank you so much for sharing all your wonderful recipes❤️❤️❤️you are a number one go to for me😊😊👍🏼
This is soooo good! So much flavor!! I knew it was going to taste like a pot pie after I put the flour in, and that familiar smell began to surface. 😊 so a couple of things: i had to cook my flour in for about 10 minutes before it turned golden brown...so worth it! My golden potatoes took about 25 minutes to get tender...again worth it! This is a keeper!! 😋
Tip: add about 1/4 tsp tumeric if you want more of a yellowish color, I did and love it, you can't taste the tumeric in it so don't worry. Made this today and it is delicious, I had tried another chicken pot pie recipe before but yours is much better, my husband loved it and me too, thank you.
OK, Natasha, we need to talk.... That was the BEST soup I've ever had, bar none! It is AMAZING. We baked a pie crust as a topping, can you say YUMMY. Whoever developed this recipe hit a massive GRAND SLAM! We used a Costco chicken. I can't wait until next week, it's what for dinner every week in the winter! THANK YOU!!!!
Making this tonight and taking it to work for my co-workers to try tomorrow. I'm sure it'll taste great. I usually don't try recipes and just come up with stuff on my own, but you and Laura Vitale recipes look so great all the time I don't mind trying them. So far, always great! and my family always loves them. Oh! I've made your cheese burger sliders and chicken and spinach lasagna twice already since coming across it and my family loved it, I even got my friends making it. Can't wait to try out more of your recipes!
Now that what I'm taking about. Just in time for the soup season. I'm a soup lover. I could eat soup everyday. Thank You! I can't wait to make this one. 🍲
