My friend son is autistic he’s 44, my friend is 72 years old, this is just how they are right this second, he had to do 40 hours of trucking just came home and Ethan was so excited to see him, he’s retiring in 3 month to spend his last days with his son after years of working, all the other kids are afraid to hug him or love on him it seems but Ethan gives him all the hug and kisses he needs

Kudos for the father allowing the kid to have the pleasure of putting everything he had into running the whole distance to greet him. His dad just showed him that he's COMPLETELY EQUAL to his brother. His physical difference doesn't make him "special." It only makes him different. That's a father/son bond that'll last forever, right there. What a gift; a father that respects his son right back.
