As someone who works at Little Caesars, I can confirm at least at my store that the dough is actually made every day hand tossed and those new pepperonis are a real pain to put on the pizza.

I've always wondered how pizzas that claim a specific number of slices work. Do you (the workers) have to manually count them while putting them on the pizza, or are batches of pepperoni pre-cut into 100s and seperated as part of pre-opening prep?

How well are logistics handled at Little Caesars? I hear they source most of the ingredients themselves, which makes sense, considering how cheap the pizzas are.

@@thepinkplushie the pizzas are prepared and put onto racks and into a walk in refrigerator and are used the same day, and are cut by workers at landing(where the pizzas come out of the oven) and cut by them, that’s why the slices aren’t always even

Just tried this pizza and based on the review. I think this review was accurate. I don't think the pizza I received had as many pepperoni on it as his did, it was still tasty with the pepperoni cooked quite well and crispy. The suggestion of the addition of some extra Crazy Sauce on the side was apt and made for a more balanced taste. Great review and a good suggestion on the additional sauce. I wonder if they could put out a Detroit style deep deep dish version of this one? That would be a certain favorite of mine.

I don't understand how so many people love pepperoni pizza. It's just so damn gross to me, I hate pepperoni or cured meats just by themselves, but even people who hate it normally will eat it on pizza. Uggh, so much salt with cheese, it's nasty.

This is a pizza that celebrates excess without costing extra for the purchaser to join the party 😁 for some of us there may in fact never be "too much pepperoni." A perfect companion for the party that is likely also consuming more than a few alcoholic libations. Love your reviews, mate. You bring a much needed, elite level dryness the internet otherwise lacks all too often.

I’m probably in the minority, but I’ve always really liked Little Caesar’s! Our local one has always been great and you can’t beat the value. It’s directly across the street from a Pizza Hut which has always been “hit or miss” on their pizzas. Thanks for another informative review👍🏼 Blessings 🙏

People are bugging from all the memes being that the pizza is trash. Not for me one of my favorite if not my favorite nationwide chain when it comes to pizza. The breadsticks are awesome as well as the cheese bread. The deep dish pizza is great and the slices and stix is such a good deal for $7 or so getting half a pizza and an order of cheese bread.

Hey there, I'm Australian so I often miss out on a lot of American fast food brands (Little Caesar's included) and your reviews of food have often provided some of the most succinct taste profiles and given me the most vivid images of what the foods your tasting are like. As someone who is thoroughly fascinated by the subject matter but unable to try it for myself, it's an absolute delight to watch you review various fast food chains and their meals. it's not that exciting. American fast food is 90% marketing and 10% substance, sourced from the cheapest possible suppliers and prepared by the lowest paid labor. From an investor standpoint, the business models are very lucrative (McDonald's in particular), but as far as products, it more often sounds a lot better than it really tastes.

Just had this for the first time last night. Not only is is super filling, just one slice had me full af but its soo damn good. I love old world pepperoni and I love the cripsy edges on some of the pepperonis. Alot of people may not rememeber or know but this pizza is what little ceasars used to taste like back in the 90s crust and all.

I trying to figure the time line he is dressing for. I see many of his outfits and I would guess 1860 to 1930's era. Or do you believe they are more modern. I have only wore a real full suite a few times in my life and each time they were picked out for me. So I have little real world knowledge.

@@eecajledo8430 they aren’t period specific but typical of 1940’s-50’s I’d say. However, this is his quite unique style and while it works great for him I’d suggest if you’re interested in starting to dress more formally or professionally you begin with a more traditional suit, contemporary suit styles are very nice and will help you fit in to any setting easily. Dressing as he does is unusual, and for anyone but him would probably make you somewhat a target for derision. He’s got the confidence for it, what can I say?

Like the ocean. A little briny, sometimes a sweet kind of smell. There is a little smell of fish,but it is beneath other layers of pleasant odors. The fishiest thing I've ever smelled when they are fresh is scallops. And even then there is a sweet smell to them. And yes I have worked several years in a fish department.

As someone who's done both freshwater, and saltwater fishing many times in my life(also done a lot of fish strews, crawdad boils, low country boils, fish fries, and just have eaten a lot of fish in general), I agree unless you just cought it, you have a very large catch, and/or you're cleaning it yourself soon afterwards smelling then guts/endtrails, or it's something like fresh shrimp(that includes the bait balls to catch them which are horrid) then it should not have a very strong smell at all.

I used to work at little caesars and still love that place, they do good stuff. I would also recommend getting the buffalo ranch to dip your pizza in if you aren't wanting more marinara, it's sooo yummy! Also I love the houndstooth pattern, looks so good!! ^^

I just had a thin crust pepperoni at little caesars and I shared some with people at work. I thought it was good and everyone at work was pleasantly surprised as well considering it was little caesars. I will have to try this old world pepperoni.

You said the marinara cup is very similar to the pizza sauce on the pizza... I worked for a couple of months at a Little Caesars and I can't speak for every Little Caesars obviously, but at the very least the one I worked at and the one that I sometimes eat at those cups of marinara are literally just empty cups that have the same sauce used for pizza ladled into them. Just a little fact to share.

Can confirm, they're the same sauce. If there's any difference it might be because the sauce for the pizza gets cooked.

I actually sat and counted each slice to the best of my sleep-deprived ability! I believe that there are at least 120 slices. I got to 142, counting any that were double stacked or hidden. Update: I ordered this pizza and it was really bad lol. I think it was just my location that is really bad. They are chronically understaffed and are always pretty bad in general. I blame the management. Hope everyone gets a really good pizza like the one in this video!

Yeah Little Ceasars has really bad quality control from location to location. The state where I grew up my LC was inedible. Then I moved across the country and I think it is the best chain pizza by far.

At first I thought you meant the pizza was cut into 100 little pencil-width slices 😭 I’m dumb af. But anyway- while I’m not a huge Little Ceasar’s fan, pepperoni that’s a bit over-baked to the point where its edges are curled up, browned, and crispy is my absolute favorite when it comes to pepperoni as a pizza topping.

This is a solid, move-to-the-head of the pack type of pizza from a fast food chain. I would say it's almost too much pepperoni but I'm not complaining. 4 pieces will give you heart palpitations.

@@ixe89 Marcos has been my favorite pizza place for a good 25 years now. Consistently solid, great deals, best sausage and pepperoni in the game, and that crust is fantastic. Its as close to an old school 60/70s traditional pizzeria as you can get in a chain pizza place. As a matter of fact, Marcos tastes almost like a place I used to go to in Detroit in the 80s/90s called Vic's Pizzeria on Mcgraw Ave. That pizza was fantastic! That being said, I also love Little Caesars a lot and its been a decent and very consistent place to eat at for me for over 37 years. I've maybe had 4-5 problems ion that time frame and thats it. Pizza is still solid for the price and this new pizza is fantastic IMO! Little Caesars Supreme remains my favorite along with just a straight pep or sausage pie from them.

That's optimal for sharing. No fighting over the best pieces. No wasted pieces. You don't need a bunch of slices. Great job Little Ceasars. Totally seems like you could get customers that might go somewhere else otherwise. Also 3000 calories isn't that high if you compare it to Costco which is 800 or more calories a slice.

Yea, rule of thumb, if a fish has an abundant fishy smell it’s bad. Whether it’s because of the cleaning(or lack thereof) or because it is spoiled. Also fun fact: any restaurant that labels a fish as “catch of the day special” it’s because that fish is about to turn, and be tossed. Don’t buy it.

My first job was a pizza parlor and their pepperoni was the kind that curled and got crispy on the edges and it is by far the best. Our pizza had a crispy crust too, not soft and bread like. To me that is how pizza is supposed to me. I made my personal pizzas myself and always added some extra sauce, and after cooking the pizza I'd put it on a pizza pan and slide it back in the slate oven and cook the top a bit longer for a little extra crisp. I ate hundreds of them exactly that way.

I counted, and there's roughly 124-ish pepperonis on the entire pie. I could be wrong since a lot of them I mistook for bits of sauce popping out the cheese. I could be wrong on the number so let's just estimate that there's on average 130 to 90 old world pepperonis on each individual pie

I always order a few sides of sauce with my Little Caesars because I like it so much, and yep, the sweetness of the marinara cuts the saltiness of the cheese and pepperoni. Good review 👍🏼
