That wildlife chart and bird of prey ID board are excellent ideas, although the visitors will be disappointed if/when they don't spot any attractive birdies. Saw the local kids enjoying a similar nature hunt early today and that's so much better than them being indoors staring at screens. Being cynical by experience I'm thinking how long it'll be before some rotter graffitis them or smashes them. Philip K Dick's a legendary Sci-fi author with a lot of great ideas and novels. The film's damn good too (director's cut without the voiceover especially). Man in a High Castle is an interesting premise as well. Lots of good stuff makes life worth living, but we'll need it as things are going to get even worse soon. Cheers.
The Man in the High Castle is a good one. I read it years ago, haven't seen the series. He was imagining a world where the Allies lost the war, and the East Coast of America was run by Germany, the West Coast was run by Japan with a central buffer state. From what I remember. Rutger Hauer was great in the original Blade Runner film.
@@carolebarker2195 Yeah, I need to read more fiction again as it's both relaxing and sometimes instructive. Try to be careful reading recent sci-fi or novels in general as the wokeness is infecting these too. Most books/TV /film pre-2010 is OK. Rutger was amazing in Bladerunner. His closing speech alone: "I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion, "etc is legendary -- and Rutger re-wrote it himself. Was in a lot of shite films to pay the bills toward the end of his days though. The director Ridley Scott's gone to shite since his glorious earlier films too (IMO). See you.
@@carolebarker2195 Tears of rain, the book is quite different to the movie as they always are. Rutger Hauer is an oriental looking man in the book...guess we white washed that one haha.
