Really loved Little House of the Prairie was one of my favorite shows and I still watch it once in a while, thank you for sharing this memorial on our favorite show.
Although there were many characters that brought out a lot of emotion for me, I think the one who brought out thee most emotion for me was Merlin Olsen. I had a terribly absent farther. When he was around he was awful to be around. But Merlin’s portrayal of Jonathon Garvey was everything I always wanted in a father. Big, tall, strong as a bear, but loving and affectionate. A great big grizzly bear on the outside, but a teddy bear on the inside! I was so terribly heartbroken when he passed away. RIP, Merlin I’ll always love you! ❤❤❤❤❤
I really appreciated this memorial of the cast of Little House on the Prairie. I grew up on this show and watched it again as an adult. I will not ever forget it. The 2 characters that I remember the most are Laura Ingalls and and Mr. Ingalls. The episode I remember the most, because it was filled with so much sadness and so much joy, is the final episode, because they had to leave the town. What they had to do was both heartbreaking, and in the end, a resounding victory for right. Thank you so much for this very touching remembrance!
As another person said Melissa Gilbert and Michel(Pa) Landon were the#2 were my favorttes. Mrs. Olson waa someone you hated and loved at the same time! May wveryone RIP. I loved you all.
Habe diese Serie bestimmt schon 10 mal gesehen und werde sie immer und immer wieder ansehen. Ich liebe sie und alle Darsteller. Heute gibt es nur noch Sex , Mord , Action und Utopie.
It's called clickbait. People see that thumbnail and think "omg I didn't know Melissa Gilbert died". Then they click on the video only to find out that she actually didn't. It's deceptive and dishonest.
The thumbnail only lets you know who was in the show. 🤣 I see several comments pointing out Melissa and Karen aren't gone. But the video never claimed they were. 🤣🤣🤣
@@bethanyhanna9464The thumbnail literally says RIP underneath her picture. You seriously don't believe that's intentionally (and deceptively) designed to get you to click?
I think Michael Landon evoked a lot of emotion, something about the struggles that he faced being Charles , it makes him look at his faith a lot . It always makes you feel the need to commiserate with the struggles we all face. Just a different perspective, since this was during the 1800’s and he really made the character . His warm smile did it justice.
It's with a heavy heart that we acknowledge the passing of some beloved actors from "Little House on the Prairie" in the poignant article, "LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE Actors Who Have SADLY Died." This tribute pays homage to the enduring memories these actors created on-screen, reminding us of the profound impact they had on the iconic series. As we reflect on their contributions, may their talent and presence continue to resonate in the hearts of fans, keeping their legacies alive within the cherished narrative of "Little House on the Prairie."
I like to think when Michael Landon passed he met with St, Peter who said, "Mike we have a special job for you. Something you king of sort of have some experience with. Remembered that show you did, "Highway to Heaven..."
Was it mentioned thst French left little house to star in his own show carter country in 1977 the show ran for 2 years. He returned tonlittle house in 1982.
I appreciate homesome shows like little house on the prairie, it is sad to hear how many of its stars have left us, but unfortunately life goes on and we as human beings also transition.
The "children " are likely my age or younger, so I would not be a bit surprised that they are all still around. But, being as many people pass when they are young, I wouldn't be surprised if some are gone
I had two favourite characters. Laura and her sister Mary out of the female Out of the Male It is hard to pick a favourite because they were all so good in their parts
Little house on the Prairie was my favourite show when I was a child. I was six years old when it debuted in 1974. My favourite actors that have passed away were Harriet Tubman and John Garvey. My favourite episode was the episode when Laura Ingalls thought she found Gold in the river. She dreamed of giving her family great presence, and a great life. I remember she dreamed that her and her sisters were wearing these cute little dresses, and a carriage pulled by horses came by to pick them up to take them to the castle. Great memories of Little House on the Prairie!
I appreciated this tribute video to all the cast members of Little House who have died. I was always curious, as to who was still alive, and who had passed.
Distribute is wrong because Melissa Gilbert is still alive and Karen Grassel is still alive. I don’t understand how people can do that. It’s heartless to say somebody died when they didn’t.
I'm sorry to hear so many of our little house on the prairie friend's have left this world behind they left behind cherished memories of a wholesome earth 🌎 may they all rest in peace😢🙏
I'm not sure Jethro was a part of little house 🏡 on the prairie cast that sounds like another show the one with the clampet,s the Beverly hillbillies show there was a Jethro in it🤔🙏
So Melissa Gilbert is gone from this world it's sad to hear that but at least now I know it is true thanks for sharing the information with me she will be missed by those who knew her as Laura Ingalls on little house on the prairie may she finally rest in peace😔🙏
