Since you mention it, I think an evil twin would make more sense because if he was exactly like Charles Ingalls, there wouldn't be much conflict, and no conflict means no story. You could even say that their original plan was having Charles' family run out of their home by his twin, who seemed pretty manipulative when he said "I'd feel a lot more welcome if you put that [gun] down."
Why is that a blooper? That's really the part where Caroline is holding the gun pointing at the door and Charles comes in. Why did they put Charles in both parts ? They just put that together. I remember that episode plain as day.

This may sound weird but Kyle Chandler from Early Edition always reminded me a bit of Michael Landon and Jimmy Stewart. Kyle sounds a little like Michael. When Michael came through that door and said the dialogue, he sounded and acted like Kyle Chandler.
why was it deleted? Charles must have been dreaming or he has a twin as good looking as himself, loved the little house on the prairie, me and my young brother and sister grew up in the 70's watching family drama like this but we did like the Walton's more till john boy left and grandpa Walton died, the rest of the Walton's grew up faster than us young viewer's did through the 1970's but its still a fave tv show in my house even now and of course we still watch the little house on the prairie too, I like the old shows better when laura, carrie and mary were kids still at miss beadles school
this is from The Little House on the Prairie movie they put two different scenes and at the same time so the episode of Charles coming in through the door when Caroline was at home by herself with a gun and she was scared but the one with Charles holding a gun pointing at the door is in the movie when the Indian chief was coming with his translator and they were scared
no it's not fake it's actually in the movie The Pilot before season 1 of Little House on the Prairie it isn't leaving soon because in this scene the person who comes through the door is Indian chief with his translator but in this scene at the end it trips you up by having Charles walk through the door
That's not a deleted scene it's 2 scenes put together. Charles walking in the door n saying that is from.when Caroline sat up.all night w a gun cuz of Indians n Charles was gone n its what he says to her as he walks in. The first part of the scene is when the chief came to talk to them in peace they just put the scene w Charles coming in to see Caroline w the gun instead of the Indian chief
