when nells said you're the richest man in walnut grove he was so right... to have a family that works together and helps each other is worth more than all the money in the world!
Harriet comes out and the entire Ingalls family smiles from ear to ear while she's just standing there, wondering what to expect. Hilarious expression! -_-
You're so right. And more things are rare like showing love, kindness and friendliness to your fellow humans. It's like living in a world full of zombies. You pass by somebody on the sidewalk there's a few that say hi but allot don't. People don't pay any mind to each other and I can't see that this is a good thing. Occasionally I run into a real friendly person and I say to myself "God bless the friendly." Walnut grove is like a Heaven; you feel like you're right in there with them.
Yess..you're right. I love this character of family ingalls.. They're so kind.. Nice to see this story..they live like in country village..so beautiful. My favourite show when I was still young.. Sorry..my english is not so good..just a little..
@cowgirl9713 Actually, it was Harriet's store. In the episode Back To School, she tells Nellie the reason why she gave her a restaurant, for the same reason why Harriet's mother gave her a store. And in Oleson Vs. Oleson, she tells Nels that it was always her store before she even met him. The store really wasn't the issue, Nels simply loved her. He even mentions how his mother didn't want him to marry Harriet, but he didn't care. Obviously, he saw something in her that others didn't.
@MsSarcia you obviously don't know any kids that do stuff and don't get punished for it because you would have said very nice things about Charles, Caroline, Mary, Laura, and Carrie. Those kids act very nicely because they ARE punished for what they needed to be punished for. I know WAY TOO MANY kids who are not punished for things they should have been punished for. Those kids are the nastiest, meanest, rudest kids I know, and they act like Nellie and Willie Olson.
@MsSarcia LOL Your assement isn't 100% accurate. None of the Ingalls children murdered anyone. But I do have to agree that over the course of the series Laura and Mary lied. Laura did steal Nellie's music box. Albert set the blind school of fire when he and some friends went down to the basement to smoke, And he also became a morphine addict. I think Laura, Albert and James all ranaway, but at different times. your assement isn't 100%
@MsSarcia and attack messages? you are the one sending the attack messages. I just simply said I didn't agree with you and you all got all uptight about it. Calm down, seriously, it is just a show and it is made up for the most part. It is supposed to be something fun to watch, not something to argue about.
@PatrickLHawkins I'm not going to argue with you about the use of the word violence in your sentence. Again, like I said it's just a tv show. You shouldn't get so worked up about it.
@MsSarcia if you want to hate them, hate them. I don't care, but this is just a show and that is not what the real Laura and Mary Ingalls were like. And Albert was made up for the show, so he wasn't real. But if you really can't stand the show, why do you watch it? All I was saying is they act like kids who get punished when they do wrong. Nellie & Willie act like spoiled kids that aren't punished. Also, Mary was punished for starting the barn on fire when she wanted to win the reward.
IT REALLY SUCKS THAT WE CAN'T HAVE MONEY LIKE THEY DID THEN WHEN ALL U HAD TO PAY FOR WAS GROCERIES AND BASIC THINGS (fabrics, food, etc.) NOW WE HAVE ALL THESE BILLS. ITS REALLY PATHETIC! EVERYTHING IS ALL SCREWED UP! OH HOW I LONG FOR THE AMISH COUNTRY! LOL!
