This music is great!!! Grew up in Carlsbad, NM. First time I saw Lil Joe I was 13 years old at the National Guard Armory. Begged my parents to let me go. 62 years old now and still love it!
@scannercommuniKtions Well said. The struggles and the suffering we went through were not in vain. Each generation unlocks the door for those that come after. My father could not read nor write, but his grandson is now in an Ivy League school. I can't hear this song without thinking of those long summers spent working in the hot sun, but it also reminds me of the spirit of those who did so with the hope that it would allow their kids to make it. I am also grateful to them.
20 years old and love this song with all my heart....and i wanna record it with my band tambien.....makes me proud of my roots....Y Viva Mexico Y Arriba Texas
