I don't think he was trying to steal but I think he might have had a disability I know some kids that have the same disability that when they see something they get really attracted to it so they want it not thinking they're basically trying to steal it and the kid wasn't trying to steal it he just liked it so he wanted it but wasn't actually going to get anywhere by stealing it
