I saw him countless times on the Chitlin' Circuit in the Mississippi Delta. The last time I saw him, we were eating catfish at the Flowing Fountain ( Annie Mae's Cafe) with B.B. King. Both were humble genuine men from the salt of the earth, the Mississippi Delta.
Little Milton was a great vocalist and guitarist. He always had an exceptional horn section, the kind that always enhanced great blues,r&b and funk music. That kind of music was great and I really wish great music such as this would return.
Great performance ! I got to see Little Milton, Bobby Blue Bland, Johnny guitar Watson, and Clarence Carter at the Olympic Auditorium in Los Angeles, November 1995 . I even got my picture taken with Johnny Guitar Watson that night ! So nice to see Mr Milton on this video. Sure brings back great memories...
My best friend is a slide guitar player. And knows Bonnie Raitt and says she is a real nice lady and that is really evident by seeing her in this video. Rest in peace Little Milton.
