I just realized: Pink hair is amity's new hair color, and a symbol of her newfound confidence and how luz affected her. Green hair is when she was still under her mother's thumb, and the green amity is things her mother may say to her if Odalia ever heard of this.

It’s wild how influential this animatic ended up being. Joriah Kwamé is developing a whole original Little Miss Perfect musical now AND he got hired by Musical Theatre International and Dreamworks to write the musical adaptation of one of their films (we don’t know which one yet.) I don’t want to say he completely has the Owl House fandom to thank for his success because his talent is his own, but it’s hard to deny how many people wouldn’t have found this song were it not for the animatic.

Oh, the nostalgia I feel for the strange summer of 2020. I watched this (and listened to LMP in general) a lot- this was kind of when The Owl House really took off, and when I was starting to wish the fandom would care about something besides Lumity (no Hunter yet). Remember when people would recite this in comments sections, and make tons of animatics, and everyone’s pfp was just Amity blushing? It feels like so long ago, like a blip that ended as soon as it began, but this has meant so much to so many people! The way people view media changes and evolves, but the artifacts of other phases are preserved for eternity.

Did I watch this as an homage to the show's ending? Yes, yes I did. Did I cry watching this? Yes, yes I did.

This is one of the better Little Miss Perfect animatics I’ve seen! :) Edit: To the people who keep attacking me for being “aggressive” when I corrected the person, I was intending it to be just a funny “did you just assume my gender?” Not an angry one. Think similar voice to Adora saying “did you just jump into fire for me?”
