When u realized the villain had a good motive and then it was the person who was with u who u thought is a good person but it was actually having a bad motive.
i think when six is captured by the thin man, she saw her face. it leads to when six catch mono, she saw his face. a face that similiar to the thin man. she knows mono will be the future threat, so she let him go. but she was wrong.. her action leads mono to become the thin man
uhhh no. There is no hero in this game as well as villains, the only thing that is possible here is the time loop and how messed up the sequence of time in this universe is.The Thin Man(Mono) had only one objective to accomplish; to break the time loop by stopping his past self to witness the same thing that had happened to him before as well, it was not revenge all along-it was to avoid in order to stop himself from doing the same thing to Six. Both characters are trying to break the loop in various and complex ways possible. Though this is just a speculation of mine and not a theory as I observed the game play..and I still need confirmation and waiting for a DLC to answer my questions T^T
WHY ARE YOU ALL SAYING THIS six did this because in the aftercredit cutscene six tummy grumbles meaning if six didnt betray mono she would just eat him up
Interesting. Not sure if it was intended, but when Mono sits down as a tiny kid he is surrounded by pink lighting. Which usually represents kindness and love. As he grows older with each scene, his light loses its color. By the time he becomes a Thin Man, he is surrounded by grey, washed out blue color. Which meant negatively represents sadness, depression and loss.
Tall Mono is like a parent, who understand child's problems because they already lived trought it, and attempts to help them, but because they do it by violently invading a child's personal life, the child feels threatened and attempts to fight back.
I heard a theory that Six did it, not to betray Mono, but to save him from her insatiable hunger, because she had those in the previous game, and this is a confirmed sequel, so she'd still have them. I do agree though that she could've ditched him AFTER they both escaped from the digital realm though...
@@That_Random_British_Dude Maybe she simply discovered the identity of the Thin Man and decided to kill Mono as revenge for being tortured and transformed...despite the later being the one who rescued her, like so many times before... Yeah, still a bitch.
I think Six discovered that Mono is a part of the Thin Man, which answers why Mono can travel through the TVs and mysteriously defeat the Thin Man. She simply returned him.
If the Thin Man is Mono from the future, then it would mean he was exacting his revenge on Six for betraying him and was trying to prevent Mono from suffering the fate where Six purposely dropped him.
That might be it. And it also explain why six drop mono. I think he find out that think man is mono are the same at the end and he drop him to take revenge if what he did to her. In other word Mono stuck in never ending loop while six continue the adventure.
But wouldent that just mean he cause a self fuffling prophecy cause if he never took his revenge six wouldent have a need for vengeance meaning he would never have a meed to fulfill revenge cause he would never be traped In other words both of them are idiots
my theory is that six droped him because she was hungry and you know six in little nightmares 1 she need to eat and when she hungry she eats anything like anything like human, rats, that why six droped mono beacuse she didnt want to eat him i think like the end end she was holding her stomach because she was hungry
Yeah and when the thin man catches you why do you have to start over from the previous checkpoint. Thin man is trying to warn mono about six’s betrayal and stop the loop, so why would it be a bad thing if Mono is captured by the thin man? I get that it’s for the game to develop, but it’s just bad writing considering what’s actually going on.
@@Charles-km7in Because that’s what we see, “oh it’s another monster trying to kill us and six” and if he does catch you then that means the loop ends.
The fact that Mono is the Tall Man gives a whole new perspective to everything- like near the end of the Tall Man chase in the middle of the streets he looks like he’s pleading with Mono in his body language; trying to get to him at all different directions and persistently trying to grab him- trying desperately to stop what he knows happens next. Incredible incredible game, I’ve never been so baffled by an ending. Bravo.
@@zointisarenazi It's an eternal time paradox. While Six is with the Thin Man she realizes he's Mono from the future. So she drops Mono - but that MAKES Mono the Thin Man, who travels back in time to punish Six.
@@saadkamal5528 it is an eternal time paradox but in time travel theories it have a name which is Casual loop theory or predestination theory By their name you can define the meaning of them What happens here is when the thin man comes in past to save mono from getting betrayed he becomes the very reason of getting betrayed and because of the betrayal mono ended up becoming the thin man hence continuing the endless loop Predestination means something is destined to happen and will happen it is inevitable until someone who is aware of it (we refer to those people as timelord) hypothetically these people have the knowledge of the loops and all the things going to happen because they experienced these very loops themselves and gained power to observe it. Until someone like them come to past to kid mono and explain him about the thin man and his intention the loop isnt going to break and when it does break all the events of past and future (theoretically and hypothetically) gets re-written where thin man doesnt exist and possibly this world never get of monsters never gets created
Mono is like Harvey Dent in the movie. He's the cool guy, the hero of the game, however, one event makes him the villain of the whole story, and even moved by considerably good intentions to save himself from being thrown over the precipice by Six, he ended up becoming what he swore defeat and failed in his goal once again.
@@LoneCommentWanderer Well the thin man is actually the hero. Mono and Six are preventing the thin man from warning mono about the loop, so technically they are the antagonist with good intentions.
@MOHAMMED YASEEN I read some theories about that and apparently many people think that six lost her previous self when she was kidnapped by thin man(who is mono's future self trying to stop his past self from becoming thin man) and turned to a monster and when her body came back to normal, her soul didn't so she just became an evil monster even if her body is not twisted and they say that the secret ending is the proof for that because she saw her distorted soul infront of her and this is where her hunger issues started also this is why she sees her distorted soul every time she gets hungry
@@drrx4308 Mono would always become The Thin Man since that's him when he's a lot older, so the stages we see in this game will happen even if Mono wasn't betrayed because it's him growing up.
I feel like she let him go Bc if moma stuck around and her Chronic hunger activated he would’ve ate him and she probably didn’t want to do that so she let him drop.sadness
Ironically, Six eating Mono would still have been happier ending than what he got. Atleast it's an instant death. Now he's trapped for 40+ years in that Transmission completely alone, until he became a shell of a person
I believe that this means that there was a time loop. Mono is betrayed by six, and is entrapped in the tv realm. Slowly over time he comes to the conclusion that he can use his powers to go back in time in order to stop six and thus he becomes the tall man/tv man. In doing so he merely wanted to save Mono, but his past self stops it. He tries to show his past self how much of a monster six is by transforming her into that selfish destructive monster, but Mono still saves her and gets betrayed. This may also show many children in little nightmares have powers, Mono controls tvs and six through various means (eating people) can absorb power. This also likely shows that when these children grow up they become powerful monsters, maybe such as the lady from Little nightmares 1. So it's possible that children, at least the actual living ones, are kill on sight. Maybe before little nightmares of any kind children became monsters who made the world chaotic and turned everyone into monsters? But these are my ideas on this game's lore. There's also a secret end if you find all the glitched kids which shows even more important lore, but that's better if it's experienced blind.
That would explain the multiple appearances and importance of tvs and tv screens like when you beat the taxidermist you cross an ocean littered with tv boxes.
lets be honest here. we’re all just sad and heart broken that six,our beloved first mc betrayed us. finding excuses to justify her, because damn it hurts too much.
It's the same helter-skelter of emotions we've been through during the first game, after all: we see her struggle, her pain, her distress, many horrible experiences that leads her to do shocking thins. After she witnesses the massacre of the children trapped in the Nest, she just tries to survive. After she attests the slaughter of the kids kept in the Maw, she refuses to eat the human-meat sausage, and, unaware of what a nome is, she eats the poor runaway kid. After the horrors she's been through in the woods, in the hunter's house (in which she's been a prisoner for at least 50 days), in the school, in the hospital, and after all the bad accidents that happened, directly or not, because of Mono, she had finally reached a place in which she was in peace. She felt safe. She had known who the Thin Man was at that point (if you notice she never waits for Mono when the blob-eyes mass tries to swallow us up, and she's defenetly not happy when she comes back to her original shape), and, even if she probably wasn't fully clear-headed, in that pink room she was surronded by the only things that made her feel warm and ... and a kid. She's a victim as much as Mono (poor boy!) is. And, like all the children, she can't stand being done something that she perceives as a grieve wrong. She bites the lady to death and doesn't hesitate to kill the Maw's guests not only because she was hugry (with THAT one-of-a-kind type of hunger), but also because she was revengeful. She smashed the crackhead kid with her bare hands because she hadn't forgotten how cruel and mean those kids were with her. And she herself is in shock after her jesture. She doesn't forgive Mono, who pur her life at risk, took her away from the ONLY safe place she's ever known since the birth of this awful dystopian world; and that (maybe she already knew it) would have become the mind behind this horrible, horrible turn of events that lead the whole world to catastrophe. Don't forget that these are kids that have been through pure horrors.
Nah I'm legitimately just sad for Mono, he was so nice to Six during the game just for her to abandon him and make him have such a sad fate, if they fight I will be on Mono's side, it would be good if he managed to take revenge on her.
@GoTi4No the secret ending is implying that that's why she did it though. That's why the scene is there. When Six is hungry she loses control, just like Seven found out when he tried giving her a sausage as a gnome. If Mono had been with her she would have eaten him too.
I LITTRELY feel so bad for mono. six left mono on purpose even tho mono risked his life like 82837738373 times for her. then she decides to drop him and then mono littrely turns into the thin man
i dont think six betrayed him, i think that she knew her hunger was coming and so she dropped him knowing that if she djdnt, his fate would be being eaten by her
It basically says that Mono became the antagonist himself to take revenge on Six but I'm not sure-Ironically though in the anime you will do the same thing like duh you decide to choose a mass genocide like bruh it's a total Jörmungandr and Thor-Norse mythology sh*t. AOT is driving me nuts ngl idec if udc skskkskskks.
Nah, I think at some point Six really cared about Mono. That's why every time she saw him leaning over to a tv and glitching, she freaked out and helped him out of it. The last time she was to late to save him, leading to Mono releasing the Thin Man and Six being kidnapped. When they meet again, after Mono destroys Six's toy and while escaping from the Signal Tower, Six recognizes Mono as the Thin Man, and then loses all affection for him.
God the soundtrack is so good. (18:15) The dreaded chords as Six drops Mono, (20:05) The clock ticking in the background, (20:46) The music picking up after you realize what is happening. (21:17) the humming of the melody as you see the silhouette of the Thin man without the hat, (21:33) and the reveal. Tobias Lilja absolutely killed it with this game's soundtrack.
All of the tracks that Tobias made for the little nightmares franchise are bangers. Tracks like this fills you with dread and uneasiness with its sinister tone.
"After he rescues Six and returns her to her normal self, she and Mono attempt to escape the Black Tower once it starts to collapse. However, when Six catches Mono near the exit, she selfishly decides to let Mono fall into the abyss and walk out herself, leaving him trapped in its depths. Mono ultimately decides to sit and wait in a chair as time goes on and he becomes toxic, twisted, resentful and forms an extreme hatred to the person he once could call a friend. All this leads up to him becoming an adult that would be known as - the Thin Man." - from Little Nightmares Wiki Well, poor Mono.
@@minhucnguyen5024 Which just changed... If you go look now, it's different. Never trust what's written on Wiki! At least, not in the very first weeks after the game is released :)
bro a lot of ppl are trying to justify six "oh she was hungry" or "she saw the thin man in his eyes" like bruh, they both look the exact same and no she wasn't hungry, she gets the hunger after she drops mono. The answer here is plain and simple: shes evil. She only used mono when she needed his help.
We can't really justify/blame anyone. I mean if you read after the story/theories you'll learn a few things. If you watched the secret ending you know that something was taken out from Six(probably her soul) and maybe this lead to the betrayal. There are so many theories you can almost drown in them xd. The point i'm trying to make is that they both had their own insecurities or trust issues which led to this ending. Six is probably empty inside with no emotions rather than evil but we can't really tell it yet.
She had to let go of mono cuz she has hunger issues and he's a thin man six has no choice but to let go cuz Six didn't want to eat mono cuz he's thin and kind and she once saw his dark shadows 😕 if I was six I would let go to
Whattheduck do nah she let go cuz she lost her soul when Thin man first took her. That’s why she continually disregarded his help until they had to make that jump. Which explains how she wad heartless enough to eat the runaway kid when he offered her food
The chair the thin man is sitting on looks like the exact same chair below the hanging man in little nightmares one. The hanging man was also thin and had formal pants and shoes like the thin man.... mono = thin man = hanging man?
To those of you saying Six did it to “protect him from Shadow Six’s hunger”, then why did she drop him into an abyss where he’d suffer forever? Or, instead, give Mono the exit and sacrifice herself? Seems more evil than selfless.
That's why it called loop. Mono (past) and The Thin Man (future) had no idea about the dark Six, and her journey through the Maw. What The Thin Man do is send his past self (Mono) and warned him to not trust Six bcs she betrayed him in the end, but Mono still did it anyway. That's why he kidnapped Six and turn her into a monster. If u see from Six perspective, it's hard for her too, no one trust her because of the cursed. There's some moments when Mono saved her from the bullies, or the earthquake, they're staring each others, that's how u know how thankful Six is to have Mono by her side. But dark Six ruined it, it's controlling her and made her looks like "sadistic". Even though she has a lady power, but she's just a child who grew with many nightmares since VLN and have a very bad traumatic experience, i feel bad for her
@Gopher The Gopher but she didnt have to drop him but then again mono basically put his life on the line for her u would have thought by him hanging from her hands she would have had some type of inner sympathy for the person who saved her countless times thru her troubles if it wasnt for him tbh she would have been died or turned into those monsters kinda seems selfish of her to do but if she didnt know what she was doing i surely hope once she walked thru that door she realized the things she has let mono go thru just for her
@@digosquarepants I still hate him, mono always save himself without selfishness then what is the reply ?? Six should be able to dispel the darkness in him just like mono tries Save Six without thinking about him
@Gopher The Gopher i hope they bring him back mono was a real one literally a ride or die type of person i felt so sad seeing him fall and become something he didnt wanna become so much emotions in that game is like a role coaster
I think the reason why future mono is chasing past mono is because future him iS trying to lure past mono away from the TV so that past mono can't save six
Before I really really liked six, but after she ate the little dude in little nightmare one, I started hating her, I hated her more after this ending. Sheesh.
She was never "Good" from the start. All the "Good" kids like Mono and Runaway kid meets a sad end by the hands of her. As well as her actions in little nightmares two when she kills the doll child and warms her hand to the burning of flesh and kicking a dead guy. She is not a good kid at all.
Well you can’t blame six for dropping him he destroyed her music box the only thing that made her happy and kept her safe and she seen him as a enemy after that
@@fishing905 no your wrong six dropped mono because she was hungry after showing that thin man is mono you can activate a secret ending showing six meeting her shadow self and her shadow self only shows herself when she is hungry she had no choice either eat him or leave him
@@juliustesorero3859 no six is evil she gets the hunger after dropping mono and absorbing some of his power to teleport through the tv screen at the end. Her selfishness will lead to her demise.
Shadow Six actually caused Mono to fall down not Six but Mono thought Six was the one who did that so Mono wanted revenge by time traveling back in the time and try to save his past self from saving Six This is just a theory tho
I love on how the lights desaturate over time as Mono grows up to become the Thin Man. The way I interpret it, it’s as if Mono’s compassion fades away and the only thing that’s left is enmity and animosity.
Acually shes didnt betraye him when mono and six is escaping six has have 2 choice She either eat mono or Let him go what did she pick she let her go because she will get hungry she dont wanna eat her friend so she when to the transmission after that She saw Shadow Six Then that begane her hunger. ------------------------------------------------ *Why she let him go* Do you remember the little nightmares 1? She is always hungry when shadow six appears you never see it because its dark thats why she pick to let go mono instead (She eats everything to get the pain gone so thats thats why she eat everything you understand now?)
I knew it! When I saw six get her raincoat I was thinking maybe this was in the past since in the first little nightmare six had her rain coat so I was thinking she killed mono or mono died saving her. Truly sad I knew six was not a good person.
Mono: six help me, i've saved you multiple times! Six: you know that song "This Is Gospel" by panic at the disco? Mono: oh you mean the one that goes like "if you love me let me go"? Six: *I don't remember the "love me" part* 18:15
The time loop concept was also well executed in a poetic way, because Mono effectively is like a signal. And signals are essentially ‘captured’ using feedback loops. Therefore his entire existence has been relegated to being trapped in a feedback loop that repeats itself throughout time. He probably entered this feedback loop after entering the place with Monster Six, and normal Six trapped him there by dropping him.
Why would six do that. She litteratly made him turn to a man. I am starting to hate six ❌💛 She made the kid, the person who helped her after all this and she just yeeted him in the hole
Bassicly the thin man is mono and he sat there waiting for his past self to reach the door but we never did so bassicly hes trying to save his past self from six dropping him but since we stop him we just restart the loop
I have a feeling the third instalment of this game will be a about a new character, who is tasked to break the never ending cycle and defeat the all seeing eye in the process, freeing the other kids from this little nightmare...
The thin man is mono, because if we look at the scene where mono finally gets through the tv, we can see the thin man sitting in the same room, in the same chair as mono was sitting at the end. So mono set future mono free?
So basically the hanging man from little nightmares 1 is mono (thin man) and he hung himself because he can never save mono from six betraying him and cant help mono cos he is trapped in a time loop and that's why he hung himself. Because if we look at the hanging man from the first game theres a chair under him and mono (thin man) is sitting on a chair. Theres also a door with an eye on it and that is also in the corridor (it shuts at the end) and in front of the hanging man.
The Hanging Man and The Thin Man aren't the same, Mono IS The Thin Man and Mono and Six are clearly around the same age or so, so how can Mono grow up into an adult in a short amount of time?
GUYS THE SECRET ENDING BLEW MY MIND! SIX LET MONO FALL BECAUSE SHE DIDN’T WANT HIS DEMISE TO BE HER LUNCH!!! SHE COULD PROBABLY TELL HE WAS SOMEHOW RELATED TO THINMAN. WHAT IF THINMAN AKA MONO HAS BEEN TAKING CHILDREN TO PROTECT THEM FROM THE HORRIBLE OUTSIDE WORLD.
There's a theory that said after six betray mono, her glitch curse her to get unlimited hunger, if it's true then she betray mono for her own good and not because she don't want to eat him
Everyone, there is still hope for Mono! People have been making all kinds of theories about this ending, trying to understand why Six betrayed Mono - even though, ultimately, there isn't any one right answer. So we're going in circles - just like Mono is. If you really think about it, the reason why Mono is trapped is because he chooses the same solution to the same scenario over and over (the time loop theory is my premise here). Every time, as an adult, he goes for Six, bringing her to the Tower - either out of vengeance or to force her to keep him company - which is the very reason why Six drops his child-self later on, initiating the vicious circle. But when you think about it, all of this means that Mono is only trapped as long as he doesn't understand why Six betrayed him - just like we're stuck in a loop trying to figure out the same thing. So, if Mono ever realises the vicious circle for what it is, he'll know exactly what to do to break free - and that, ironically, is by letting Six go.
Everyone says that Little Nightmares is a horror game, and to a degree it is but it's one of the few games that carries a deeper meaning; we can't outrun our fate, we will always become who we are destined to be.
There was gonna be ending where Mono and Six escape together you can see it in the concept art but the developers wanted to mess with our feelings so the changed the ending
I see alot of people thinking the thin man is trying to "save" mono despite him killing you if you fail to escape. By this point the thin man has been drained of everything, personality, agency, memory, hes nothing but a static filled puppet. I dont think he even knows that hes chasing mono, hes just following the script.
Why is everyone saying this is it like everything is solved honestly with this game not that much was answered so far we still don’t know what the lady does besides make gnomes like why is she so important
it's not supposed to answer anything. this game is to expand on the world and the mechanics of the first one, and yet these games don't spell out their story, you have to rely a lot on observation and interpretation (but hey, it DID answer where the masks come from!)
Also Mono can die to ways when six dropped Mono he grew up to be come the thin man and the fight Mono in the past killed himself and if six helped him up she would of killed him because of her hunger if you watch the end so Mono could of died 2 ways now it makes sense 😔☹️😢
this sounds like a timing stuff, the present is changed by something from the future interrupts it. If u watch a lot of timeline movies then u will see that this has already been a loop, begins from nowhen, ends with that timeline itself as it is starting a new loop
Somerandomguy I thought it was obvious when six betrayed mono he becomes thin man goes back into the past doe to the TVs since he can travel if it has something to broadcast and then then repeatedly tries to stop him so yea I believe the loop started when six betrayed mono so I’d say it would have been better if six ate mono meaning none of this would continue if she dropped him.
its all the same except the thin man wasnt chasing after mono because mono was still young mono and mono coulve just opened teleported to the signal tower anytime he wants and while exploring it with six and then he probably tripped and was left hanging on the edge of a cliff or something and then six was there who is holding monos hand and then suddenly six betrays him and lets go and then he falls at the bottom which is where the flesh eyes are and he had no where to go and found a random chair then just sat there and then he gets twisted and transformed into the thin man and then thats where the cycle starts. and then the thin mono had to just silently wait there for something to happen and then suddenly young mono comes out of no where and opens the door to free thin man.. but the actual question is how cycle even start? where did young mono come from if the young mono before was already the thin man? its like someone was making more young monos to kill thin man and then BECOME thin man... hmmmm.. now THAT is what everyone should be asking
@@zacharoony9860 That could be true I just think six was responsible for the loop cuz why else out of every monster targets you but no six but the only one who gives more importance into catching six is thin man I thougth he remembered the betrayal and wanted to stop it hey that’s just a theorie maybe yours is rigth I guess will have to find out.
@@nguyenmaianhdo2493 No not might because I don't think six ate through out this journey so since she didn't wanna eat him she dropped him. she didn't wanna save him just to make him food
Poor Mono. When he sits on the chair, he just slumps onto it. He’s completely broken over his efforts to escape. Plus Six’s betrayal didn’t exactly help either.
All of this has happened before, they are in a loop with the tower representing time and space. On their ig they have two posts that support this the first saying," You are already lost, little one. There will be no escape..." and the second saying, " We've been waiting so long to greet you, and now, you're finally here." The Thin Man says "we've" because he's referring to Himself and his past self Mono. If Mono and Six are in a loop, it could explain why the start of the game is Mono infront of a TV with no context, starting over and over again the cycle of mistrust and betrayal. So now Mono sits there patiently trying to think of a way to break the loop...or nightmare(s). Six turns into a Monster, but not because of the Thin Man. She transformed because of the powers she took from the Lady in little nightmares 1 and the tower radio waves changed and deformed her like everyone else in the city. Mono being the only one immune because he's Thin Man. We know the Thin Man cares about Six because he made her a room of the first time they met, even giving her stuffed animals. (TV dimension is Thin Mans World, he rules there and can make anything he wants). He shows this in the end when he changes the eyes to an actual room still keeping the chair, not never leaving the TV dimension.
I believe this game is now a prequel, because in the “good” ending, shadow Six is revealed to be Static Six, and I think this is a form of curse or something from Thin Man (Mono)
@@zyxperium7551 no I think the game is a prequel too because of the secret ending where there’s static six and you hear six’s stomach like in the first game meaning she’s getting hungry and that’s when the static six points to a picture of the maw
In the description of Mono it says he wears the paper bag because he thinks the worlds hates him making this even more sad because he thought the world hates him until he meets six he thinks she actually somewhat cares for him but when he takes his paper bag off to face his insecurities and defeat the thin man and face his problems she betrays him confirming his insecurities that the world hates him and gives in and becomes the thin man that’s what makes this even more sad
Before the screen went dark, you can hear Six humming her music box tune to basically calm herself after what she has done. She betrayed her only loyal friend for the better or worse. Now we'll have to wait another few years to get an answer
A lost boy, running from his demons, meets a girl also on the run. The boy helps the girl to find herself until being utterly betraid by the girl, left alone, and to grow up as sinisters, cynical being bent on destruction of humanity. If this is not a metaphore for a failed relationship, I don't know what is...
Six’s choice was a double edged sword, the hunger eventually comes back to her, we’ve seen what she’d done in part one where she ate a nome, which was a human (she wasn’t aware of though). Now with this hunger, she didn’t want to save Mono just to eat him. But by dropping him he grows a heart full of hate for her, sitting in a room for presumably decades alone with nothing. My boy didn’t deserve that, he really seemed like the only light in this Little Nightmares universe, proving how far he’ll go to protect something he loves, which is Six, since she’s the only thing that hasn’t tried killing him. Back on topic, with his heart cold and his eyes set on revenge, Mono (now The Thin Man) sends a past version of himself through the TV in the forest, the now young Mono goes and saves Six from The Hunters shack, unknowingly luring her towards his future self (The Thin Man) throughout the entirety of the game. So when The Thin Man finally gets hold of six he tortures her for what seems decades since she had time to grow into a bruting, distorted monster. Mono is not aware that The Thin Man is actually him, so he goes and tries to save his friend Six, destroying the music box she was protecting as a monster as that box was The Thin Mans grip on her. As The Pale City was falling, crumbling apart, Mono and Six made their escape from The Black Tower together. Here, is where Six had the choice to ditch Mono or take him and end up eating him whenever her hunger came back. Either way, Six thought he would’ve died. She just didn’t want it to be by her hands because she DID value their relationship. But basically Mono was trying to end the cycle that he’s going through, he was trying to change his fate by killing Six, is my guess.
