@@VeronicaBrandt One last thing. I believe God and the Blessed Mother are calling people right now to come home. In other words time to decide what side you are on. I was away from the catholic church for 46 years. I am a cradle catholic and went to a catholic school back in the 60's. I was taught the faith well by sisters of St Joesph and by the priests. Well 10 years ago I was given the gift of cancer. What happened to me was the most incredible thing that ever happened to me in my life. I was sitting on my couch in terror after the diagnosis and was wondering what to do. Finally after being miserable for a couple of days I had enough. Not knowing what to do, I said out loud in a sarcastic tone with a half believing voice, "IF YOU WANT ME YOU CAN HAVE ME". I was basically telling Jesus I was ready to die, I was exhausted from worry. Well the last word bearly left my mouth when I was filled with the Holy Spirit. I cannot described but I felt like the Holy Spirit was in me my whole life but was dormant because I left the Church. I was filled with awe and fear at the same time, but also with this infinite wave of peace and love, like a parents love but infinitely deeper. I never wanted to read the bible, I have been reading it everyday for 10 years. I go to mass everyday and receive The Holy Eucharist everyday. I go to confession every month. It was a miracle. Also everything was flipped, I saw how chasing worldly material items is a waste of time. And the only thing that matters is God. When I was a kid the Sisters said you should love God more than you parents, I never understood that until I was given the grace of a conversion experience. I was ashamed before God for the unholy life I lead. Anyway I can go on forever. Here is the thing, and I know I am speaking to the choir, GOD IS REAL. The Blessed Mother and everything catholics were taught about the Saints and miracles is TRUE. The only thing that matters is God. Thankyou for teaching your kids. You have beautiful children. Thanks! I guess they are. Homeschooling helps with allowing us to fly off on tangents.

I'll have to wait a bit - my voice has been taken out by a virus, but hopefully will be back in a week or so. It might be good to record the rosary as we actually say as a family - we sing the Pater Noster and the Salve Regina and the rest we just speak. I don't think I've made a Rosary video yet - so maybe you meant a Terce video at a slower pace?

@@VeronicaBrandt I hope you get better soon! We used to chant the Aves in tono recto as well. Every part was chanted in the rosary. As for the speed: my impression was that the general pace of your chanting seems wuicker than what I remember from the Divine Office. But then again, I'm no expert in Little Office chanting

@@Shlomayo I think ideally we should be singing more slowly and reverently. Once the kids learn the prayers off by heart we tend to get faster. Something to bear in mind, keeping a more steady pace.

@@VeronicaBrandt Thank you for not taking my comments the wrong way. It's just I'm musically illiterate and cannot sing at all, so a slower pace make it a bit easier for me to follow the melodies :)

Regina Caeli - the Marian Antiphon for Easter time. In the Office it's compulsory to sing the Marian Antiphon after Compline. It's also recommended to be sung after any public recitation of the Little Office, so I've included it here. The rubrics say the celebrant intones it, but we've been using it as a way to involve our smallest family members, so our youngest here starts it off very slowly - I'm not sure why she was doing that, but she does like to stand out.
