Kim & his lads tore this up in kelso, wash in '97. Nathaniel Peterson sang & played bass.Dave Olsen from Eugene on drums. Nathaniel sang somebody for a good three minutes with no Instrument being played even KIM applauded heatedly. It took on a life of it's own. They followed with BAD SHAPE. GOAT for us. KIMMY was on fire. He visited us 6 times in the seven years I worked there. Greatest BLUES I ever did hear. REST PEACEFULLY DEAR FRIEND --- YOU ALWAYS GAVE IT YOUR ALL.
Thanks for the video love this band sad to say have not seen in awhile. I did see them a lot in the 80s and 90s. They sound great as always and the crowd really into it bring back memories of them at the ROADHOUSE ON 52ST that place had some great shows. KIM is amazing got to get to a show.
Absolutely Fantastic in every way - Savoy Brown have been a favourite band of mine since the mid '60s and this amazing track re-affirms why I always enjoy the company of their music so much - thank you so very much for sharing this video and thanks to all in Savoy Brown for many, many years of truly magical moments and sheer brilliance - thanks, thanks and thanks again.
JUST saw these guys last night at the Karma Klub in Victoria! One of the best concerts I've seen in the last 20 years and I just saw Chris Cornell last weekend! An absolutely grossly over-looked guitarist who is easily in the top 5 of ALL TIME and the whole band just kicked ass! The lead singer was so good I just had to close my eyes and be transported at times and the dude also played a mean sax all night when he wasn't singing! Thank you soooo much for playing here and please come back soon!
Did anyone see them with Rod and the Faces at the Forum in '71 The Grease Band opened for a triune of pure Rockin -Blues nectar What a night of music!!!
I saw that same tour at UPS Fieldhouse in Tacoma except the warmup band was Sneaky Sam's Lamb. (awesome band I was their roadie :) ) I got to share a pass around bottle of wine with Lonesome Dave and Rod Stewart.
this was the band Kim had when they played at a summerfest concert 2 blocks from my house, got to talk with Kim after introduce him to my son ( who's been brought up right as far as tunes goes)... adding the sax to Savoy brown tunes was awesome
