Let me say this please’ I was a very good friend with Richard. Matter fact, we spoke on the phone two weeks before he passed away. And what he shared with me personally was just so touching and very private. He weep as we talked and he talked about JESUS and him turning his life around to live for GOD.

@@Blackfoot100 Fact: Little Richard has no top ten or number one albums, only fifteen top ten hits, in which just three hit number one. Again, with such a long career with very little sales, Little Richard could never hold any kind of crown, except for maybe a paper one. Still, he died with a gross worth of $40 million dollars. Pretty good for someone that quit at the height of his fame, and never regained his original fifties popularity.

The piano and 12/bar blues had a grand marriage of renewed popularity in the mid-fifties. That is rock and roll. Classical had two centuries ago reduced the 145 progression for order and stability in the function and foundation of Western music. Little Richard was of this new expression and was magnetic in his performances showing us then and now, He was the true king of rock-roll. Long live his dynasty to the music that shaped our American lives.

Little Richard didn't even chart one album on Billboard anywhere after his death. That means no one is buying his music. 47 YEARS after his death, ELVIS is still on the charts. He is the TRUE KING.

Of course, no one is buying his music, so the only crown he can possibly have, is a paper one from Burger King. I would gave him his paper crown, but I cannot find his lonely grave. 🤣

Always enjoyed him….it never seems to fail that many celebrities have extremely serious problems. Legal, financial, etc. All the fame and money seems to be a hindrance rather than a blessing. A nice home, not really a mansion in my mind in Georgia. Very cheap price. My own home is four times that price.

Little Richard was a great performer. I used to watch him on tv in the 1960s and 1970s, then I finally had a chance to see him in person in 2001--what a performance!
