He introduced Aerosmith firsr time on tv on the 74 burt sugarman midnight special show and that was a kick for them cause they liked his music growning up and a kick for me to see Tyler and a fav little richard together
@Sub to Mrbeast He inspired The Beatles, David Bowie, Lemmy Kilmister, Prince, and many, many more to become musicians themselves. Not only was he one of the absolute greats, he planted uncountable seeds of future greatness.
Rest In Peace Little Richard, you were one of a kind! I was lucky enough to have met him in Nashville in 2015. Great experience meeting a Legend, I got a fist bump and an autographed picture of him.
You could not believe that in an album (his first album) you could have so many HITS, so many great compositions, his talent was overflowing, the first listen heard made me move, twist or want to sing or scream, I think I never met an artist that he could transmit to you in a matter of seconds as much energy as he... Rest in peace Mr.Richard Wayne Penniman a.k.a Little Richard...
I love it. This was when lil Richard was hungrey, you always make your best music when your hungrey and just starting out. Its 2017 and it still sound good. Go Richard!
Elf Sieben In my opinion, everyone else was carrying the torch from Muddy Waters and Howlin Wolf. Eddie Cochran also has a case for founder of rock and roll.
RIP Little Richard. You are the god of rock and roll music and a very talented legend. To his family, friends and his devoted fans who still listen to his music, my prayers go out to you
The originator of swagg, AND, as Smokey Robinson said, " the beginning of that funky, driving, never-let-up style of rock n roll!" He also was pivotal in the creation of soul and his mid-50s music influenced James Brown, who stated that Little Richard's band was "the first to put the funk in the rock beat" and sparked the musical transition from 50s rock n roll to 60s funk. RIP (It Up) in Heaven, King Richard!!
I think the same. I knew his importance to rock o roll, and knew some of is famous musics, but after he passed away. I saw some concerts, in You tube He was away of his time. Easy to see the variety of musicians he influenced from Beatles, Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, James Brown, Prince, etc. The true King of rock
German here. My dad got into Little Richard when the American G.I.s brought his music with them a short time after the war. I was blown away when i first heard him on my dads old Records. I still am today. Let's be honest here, his music makes you wanna dance, no matter where you are from and how old you are. Thats what music does.
Don't stop just cuz you're passin thru to the other side! We are on that stairway right behind you, singin and jivin! We can't follow you all the way in but believe me Mr Richard we're outside that door, singing your famous songs!
R.I.P. Little Richard! Good Golly you will be sorely missed. I think everyone is a fan no matter what music genre you like. The Late Great Lemmy Kilmister of Motorhead was a huge fan.We will miss you Little Richard.
My sister was so refine and elegant, I was visiting her, she was in the kitchen washing dishes. I heard her singing this song.😂she was dancing and I was so happy to see she wasn't so into Opera. So much Love for her, Was in my heart. She looked at me and said " WHAT' God did I laugh😂
Its 2020 and I still want to thank little Richard.. For his day he was a punk rock Mo -Fo!! RIP sir!! You are inspiring musicians to this day with tunes that are pushing 70 yrs old..
Little Richard embodied EVERYTHING that was rock and roll. Though he shunned it later he is still the architect of rock and roll. The real deal. Those moves...omg!
Rest in peace King Richard! You just don't know how much I miss you so much so much! I love you and thanks for all of everything you've done throughout my life, you know there would be no me without you! ATTT!
