In the winter when he leaves have fallen, the true beauty of the canyon shines thru. There are only a few places where you can get next to the river and see the clear water running down he river. This is also the time to see all the rock outcroppings in the canyon. Thanks for the NPS taking such good care of this place. I take my scouts there every year swimming. They never get tired of hiking in the canyon. Always something else unusual to see. Canyon View overlook is our favorite. But Eberhart Point is second. I have been going there and kayaking the river since 1988 and never get tired of it. Beautiful
