This one is an old story from way way back in the day. I don't have the lyrics memorized past the 3rd verse. So, if it looks like I'm reading, I'm reading the verses.
Trying one video of Banjo Clawhammer a week. Even if it's not a perfect or solid run, like this one, I'm going to try to hold myself to getting better at Clawhammer.

The first time I'm hearing this song, definitely sounds like an early version of Cocaine Blues by Hank Snow. After minimal research, yep, basically the same story. Even though I can tell you're *relatively* a beginner, you're much better than me at picking, keep it up, you've got greatness in you!

excellently done, you should keep making music and posting. Maybe check out "western af" to see if you can play song for them, they support young artists
