I loved this movie as a kid but now I’m just seeing how much realism was put into a puppet. The entire movement and reactions are masterfully done. Hensons are the best of the best in giving creatures life.

The way he leans in at the end, i have pictures of a different angle of it you can clearly see the massive size difference. He is threatening Seymour, and I fucking love that.
When I first saw this, when Audrey 2 said "you sure do drive a hard bargain." I thought "that's not good" by the way he said it, "but maybe he'll try the meat" Seymour is getting. Then when he called Audrey, I realized he said it to get rid of Seymour so he could eat Audrey cause she was getting in the way of his plans.

the plant would only be a couple of weeks old, right ? Itbstarted growing non stop as soon as Seymour started feeding it... I'm not sure how much time passed between each feeding
One thing that bugs me about this. Earlier in the movie, when Seymour went outside to talk to Audrey, there was a back door he went out of. If he'd have just went out through there now, he and Audrey would have been well on their way and Twoey would have been left alone to starve.
@Detroit_Dawg Well, I think he only told Seymour to feed him and get meat (making it sound like he wanted meat instead of human which is why he said "bring on the meat") as a way of getting Seymour out of the shop so Audrey 2 himself to get Audrey to eat her. Although Audrey was crazy to walk into the shop after seeing the plant moving and talking to her when she should have stayed safely in her apartment room.
I think echolocation or what earth benders do in avatar. They can sence body heat signatures even though they can't physically see them. It probably knows where he is cause of his dam shoes (why Seymour, why?)
Remember, Audrey 2 is an alien... Perhaps there's some alien physiology that allows him to be aware of his surroundings as well as understanding Human Language and apparently street smarts as well due to his flamboyant personality
@ECHORISING8982 Well in the song "Feed Me" Audrey 2 sang, Seymour said "does it have to be human?" and with Audrey 2 continuing singing, "that would have meant "yes" which must mean that Audrey 2 can only live on human blood and nothing else.
Well, Plants don’t need to sleep at all, so Audrey II is likely faking, or actually “Sleeping”, But since they don’t have Eyes, and since they are not from earth, we wouldn’t know if they are faking
@Broadwaygirl918 Most likely Audrey 2 is asleep because if he wasn't, he would have said "feed me" when Seymour came out of the basement but when Seymour got near the door to exit was when Audrey 2 woke up and said "feed me."
@@fandomfancy2450 Audrey 2 is actually not a plant, he's an alien disguised as a plant which explains why in his song when he said "I'm a mean green mother from outer space and am bad" where Seymour said with surprise "outer space" like he was saying "he was never a plant all along, he was an alien." Also, with Audrey 2 being an alien, that explains why he doesn't live and grow with water and minerals but with human blood which a bad alien can do by eating humans.
