Many thanks Javier - I think if you get the range of sounds you want then you don't have to try all knobs and patch options, just went with the flow. Cheers
Hi Gary, great piece of music mate, the Taiga has a lot of sonic potential by the sounds of it, like your new keyboard as well. Hope you are well and not to cold or snowed in yet. Cheers Glyn.
Many thanks Glyn - might get some snow tomorrow, but I have some nice toys to play with :) Have had the two QuNexus keyboards for 3 years now, just not used the sequencing part of them which was a firmware update last year
@@GaryHayes Yea, the west pest is fantastic, I actually wrecked my speakers with it a few hours ago in tandem with a crave and a h9 - they were 14 yrs old anyway so I suppose it was due. The west pest is a joy every time I mess with it, which is why I am sold on the taiga. I actually got the korg sq-1 for the 2600 after seeing your use of it and it was feeding the crave filter and resonance - sounded great until there was no sound =(
@@johnwalshe Oh no! Hopefully not too expensive to replace ... I have some nice presonus 5.5" that handle hot signals really well (guessing some protection circuits in there), old speakers less so. Agree I wasn't that sold on the wavefolding oscillators until, I was :) ... the wavefolding acts as a filter of sorts so in these setups CV to each osc separately it has a 3 voice synth feel - some can be soft while the others punchier, it would be great to have 3 separate envelopes too!
