Yes!! When you talked about how Michael is always compared to fire, I’d like to point out that he is also a Sagittarius (a fire sign!) which could also make a lot of sense when referring to an internal flame
When it said that the name on the font of Michael's house was 'Jane' my first thought was that it was a reference to Jane Austen because of how many times Tori says she hated pride and prejudice and how Michael doesn't like his house and family (I think, it's been a minute since I read the book) I have no idea if this is right and it probably isn't but it's what I thought of

sorry for taking so long to respond to this! first a foremost i would recommend anything written by katie henry! my favorite of her books is called Lets Call it a Doomsday but all of them are amazing! heretics anonymous focuses a lot on friendships as does LCIAD and This Will Be Funny Someday. for a protagonist like tori, i recommend either one of savannah browns books!
