Garret's Guitar Lessons
Here it is... the ultimate example of Hendrix's rhythm style embellishments: the Little Wing Intro! I'm in standard tuning, which I prefer as I typically don't detune to a half step down very often. The chord progression is:
Part 1:
Em - G - Am - Em
Part 2:
Bm.Bbm - Am.C - G.F - C - D
Be sure to check out my previous videos to understand where his note choices come from. When the singing starts, he starts improvising around some of the parameters I set. They're more so guidelines so start experimenting! In this video, I tried to get as close as humanly possible to the original, but it was tough to shed some of my own things I added over the years to personalize it a bit more. Dig!

@@redwalrustmnc5256 Ha! That's hilarious. I feel like I either get criticized for going too slow or too fast. The speed function on RU-vid is great. Don't forget I also have tabs at: garretsguitarlessons.com (exact link is in the description and/or under "Resources" under PDF's) that are divided as how I explain them. Hope that helps! To be honest, this is the one video I was most worried about being called out on... so the tabs are as accurate as I could possibly make them. In the process, correcting things I didn't pay close enough attention to beforehand. Oh and a Backing Track too, under "Backing Tracks". Cheers! ;)

Thankyou sir -thought I had it down -till you showed me the missing double stops I omitted --even some top 3 strings I missed --now it all sounds correct --just the bell like tinkle I do not understand ---must have been added on later ?

Thanks those are just Seymour Duncans! I think a 59 in the bridge, Little 59 in the Middle and Little JB in the Neck. Basically just JB's and 59's unsure of what's where anymore though! I have 'em split. Thank you!

Only part I avoid is that B Flat :walk down section --to A minor --its too fast to understand --so I leave it out --10 years --still cant do it !

you are the least clear instructor i have ever come across, please could you slow it down with clearer note transitions? Its impossible to understand what your left hand is doing.
