LittleBigPlanet 2 | A Perfectly Crafted Sequel 

In my opinion, LBP2 is one of the greatest Ps3 games ever.

Finally someone is talking about a game that was like 50% of my life at some point

I miss this game. So many memories spawn from this game for me, and I will always remember it. For me LBP3 ruined these games for me. It was buggy, didn’t have the LBP charm, and honestly just felt overwhelming, especially when you would spend hours on a level and then your profile corrupts. This has happened to me twice. I have no idea who decided to release this game so early, but I bet LBP3 would be better than LBP2 if it did not have so many problems.

this game was the happiest part of my childhood, i played this game so much id have to say at least 2-3k hours. But MAN it was all so worth it

This game was my entire life when I was in elementary school. It's was so saddening to watch the community gradually go down and lose its creativity. There will never be a game like this one.

If there ever is lbp4, it has to be the most creative thing to exist, which means it has to past the amount of stuff you can do on lbp2, which is pretty hard.. Anyone remember a mini game party level? I did, if someone can tell me the name thanks! It had a button mashing mini game that was 2v2 which was cool.

Anybody remember the glitch where you can turn your body into an element permanently. I remember electrocuting people in their pods by touch and having fun, it got boring fast. But still was a cool glitch

I grew up on LBP Me and my dad's first bonding experience was LBP I was two and didn't see him often due to him being in the military, he had a problem with drinking as well, so I'd see him a couple of times a year at this point Despite being two, I absolutely loved it And when I was soon to turn 5, LBP 2 came out! So on my birthday, I got LBP 2 I would spend hours a day playing that damn game haha My sister was born soon after that, which only increased my playing of it I got Minecraft soon after that as well, but honestly, I'd still spend more hours on LBP 2 My Aunts ( who happen to be around my age, one of them is 2 months younger than me) also played, so that would be the only time I'd really get to hang out with them. I played LBP hardcore until I finally moved on to Minecraft I thank LBP for honestly helping me grow up, it's really not easy being a military brat, or when I used to be one (my dad is out of the military now! Whooo!) and it gives me so much nostalgia, it's almost overwhelming I love this game too much, and I always will I have so many vivid memories of me spending hours at a time on that damn game, haha Once even ruining Easter for myself by staying up late enough (playing LBP2) and accidentally seeing the "Easter Bunny" And in my opinion, LBP is more creative than Minecraft

I played LBP 2 before the first one and therefore have a special attachment to it. Nostalgia can blind you, but OMFG LBP 2 is just as awesome as everyone says. Only beautiful memories of how me and my brother were messing around, annoying each other. Ahah, I remember after finishing LBP 2 being so weirded out by the characters of LBP like why are they all cardboards who don't even properly speak are they even ALIVE??? Loved both of those games, man, in retrospective they influenced me as an aspiring artist

when the dude talked about mangreek, I blushed. Man, playing monkey survival, infected and all the plane survival with friends on a lazy saturday was the best feeling ever!

My most memorable moments came from playing the story mode of this game with my friends, there was a moment where we have to throw objects to defeat one of the bosses and we were about to lose, so in a desperate attempt my friend threw ME at the boss and even though I died we beat the boss. We laughed so much after that it was so great.

Little Big Planet 2 will always be in my heart and my dreams! I’ll Never Forget those good memories I had playing this masterpiece of a game!

They need to make a LBP2 remastered for PS4 or PC

I remember when I think I was 7 or 8 years old, I only remember 3 parts of the level, at the beginning you were on this boat, and there was a wizard with a ridiculously long beard, then later in the level you were driving a monster truck away from some weird mouth (once again I can't really remember clearly), and then at the end you find Barrack Obama sitting on a stone throne of some sort, and when you get close to him, a boss battle starts where he turns into a vampire, and he flies above you and you have to shoot him down with the paintinator. The level as far as I remembered was pretty good looking, good shading, use of color correction and stuff like that, im still on a quest of finding that level.

I maintain the opinion that Dr. higginbotham and his space levels should’ve had a bigger part in the story besides the last slice.

As a kid this was the game I grew up with , as an 8 year old , I struggled to beat the story mode and cried when I beat it however I realised the game wasn't over when was introduced to PSN on my dad's account and loved making levels , I got lbp3 when there was a 75% off deal and was disappointed and so continued using lbp2 but one day I was like "why can't I make this ? I wonder if the thing I need is in lbp3 " it was and so I started playing the second game less , I still come back to it but most of my levels are in the third game , I have now played LBP 1 2 &3 as well as karting prehistoric moves and rsbr on my phone. If you wanna play my levels my account is makomanusa. Coming back a year later and i've already commented , whoops! but yeah i was gonna say pretty much the same thing.

Guess i got the right LBP game. When i saw an LBP game on the shelf, i thought "why not?" And got it. Little Big Planet 2 is one of the best games i've played on the PS3, and i can't wait for Dreams for the PS4.

The greatest feature in LBP, in my opinion, was the Dive In feature. Dont get me wrong, all the new tools and logic added was necessary for brand new toys and community creations But meeting brand new people just chilling in their pod, was just the best. Whether it was Moon creations, Roleplaying with costumes, story minigames (pool was the best), or their list of hearted levels they wanted to show. hopping into someones pod and having fun doing whatever, was just the best experience for me.

Little big planet was the 1st 4eal game I played. I replayed the first ones story mods and nearly cried with nostalgia

I remember playing Lbp1 and 2 with my little sister , We LOVED the series it was so much fun and so Creative the endless levels , The awesome story mode.. We have so much memories of Lbp.

Creatinator: The Paintinator was basically the prototype. DC Comics Pack: Literally added some and/or all of the abilities of half of the new characters in LBP3. I mean, think about it. Swoop is basically a glorified hero cape and Oddsock can wall jump, just like the DC Comics Pack allowed you to.

anyone remember black ops zombies in LBP2 or flying potato head man. Those were thee days. I believe LBP 1 and 2 are the greatest game of all time for a good reason. The community, the DLC and the endless memories. I played LBP 1 and 2 from 2nd grade all the way to 6th grade. Everyday in the summer as of it was a job. When three came out and it ended up being as bad as it was. It really hurt. I've spent hundreds of dollars on DLC for LBP and I wish I could go back to those days. Thanks for the video.

I remember everyday I would hop on LBP2 back in elementary school and I would have so much fun playing the story,community levels,and meeting new people and making more friends. My PS3 ended up breaking on me and I couldn’t play LBP2 anymore which destroyed my heart. I hoped LBP3 would be able to get my LBP hype back to me until my game kept crashing and my profile kept getting corrupted. I would love it more then anything if LBP4 would fix all the problems LBP3 had and it becomes one of the best games of all time.

Nostalgia brought tears to my eyes

Everything Media Molecule curates is perfect. LBP was amazing, and LB2 added so much on top of the first that just enhanced the game series in every way. LBP Karting was actually pretty fun, but I didn’t play it for long as I found myself going back to LBP2. Then along came Sumo Digital, and royally f**ked up LBP3. it was buggy, I lost ALL my progress due to a corrupt file. It was horrible. But now there is hope. Media Molecule have finally revealed a release date for their newest game - Dreams. On 14th February next month. Dreams is the great big brother of the entire LBP series we all deserved. It’s comparable to Roblox, but with no forced design style. It’s a massive game engine for you to build WHATEVER you want.

On feb 14th media molecule officially releases dreams on PS4 its basically a spiritual successor of little big planet... I have the early access and I can assure you the community is wholesome right now... I know a few bad apples are gonna join eventually and ruin the fun for everyone but media molecule has put up a moderation system in case something like that happens and you can choose to keep your game or asset from being used by other people or take down a game or video if you dislike the way they used ur asset or morphed your game...

I think lbp1 had the best story mode, despite lbp2s story being incredible, but the multiplayer and level creation was much better on lbp2, this is my favourite game series of all time and i played them so much when i was 7 until i was about 10, im now 17 and im dying to play it again but unfortunately i dont have a ps3 anymore. And i did play lbp3 but was extremely disappointed, i completed the story and tried the multiplayer but i never went back to it, i thought lbp for the vita was pretty decent, but its obvs not as good at the original 2

LBP2 is also my absolute favorite and shall always be.

The only game my wife and I got a Platinum in. Even after beating it we would love to go online and help people with some of the more difficult levels. We were in the top five for Gobotron so we would always get messages to help. We loved it. That game gave us so much pure joy.

6:33 I remember seeing this trailer on the TVs they got hooked up on display at walmart and thinking it was weird, then my dad bought me this game for christmas which was the biggest mistake he ever made cause I frustrated the shit out of him over playing that game.

i miss this game. I never was the best creator but it just made a lot of fun. I still have some unfinished levels ... And i actually also believe that LBP3 destroyed it. Now i can just hope that all my hearts on my profile (nager2001) will stay in Dreams :)

I remember years ago me and a friend wanted to make a smash bros level and we didn’t know how to do much logic so we used the createinator to make it seem like you were attacking each other. I remember making an invisible block around the area and I made the invisible walls into fire so when you got launched into the wall you would die and we made the createintor shit bounce pads. I miss this game.

What do you think of Little Big Planet restitched? It's a PC port of I BELIEVE everything in LBP 1 and 2. It doesn't have the levels but it has everything in the creative kit tmk.
