fun fact: avalon was once intended to be the villain of the game this shouldn't really come as a suprise to people who have seen how he acts in the final game
Interestingly enough, I actually expected Avalon to betray the Alliance by the end of the game during my first playthrough as a kid. Maybe the idea was scrapped because it was too obvious.
Me to I remember this so far back. I can remember when I used to play lbp2 and the first level of Avalonia. I and a friend and sometimes I would just do it by myself and I would jump over bunnies and have fun. I felt like earth was a little different back then vs now. We will never forget this game
Little Big Planet, man where do I start. A game of so much creativity, so many amazing worlds, an even greater community. All for it to be forgotten... But never by us.
I just want to jump back in my PS3 after all those years ... but massive works stop me for now. When it shall be done ... *Cranks up that interactive music*
I remember meeting Avalon by adding the full username on PS3 from the story mode levels he created. He accepted my friend request like months later I think. It was weird because the other characters didn't even show up. He ended up joining me and he brought me into creative and spent 30 minutes creating me a custom flying device where you could hop in it and fly around and let me save it. Then went offline. That was enough to prove to me that he was the real guy who designed him or something. I think I still have it in one of my old games. One of the best memories as a kid who loved LBP. He was also my favorite character in the trilogy
kilov6 That's not gonna happen lol they are working on dreams and they said they are done with lbp franchise. They only released lbp3 to close of the franchise.
I always thought of this music as something that would play in a safety video before an amusement park ride, or a technical difficulties screen. Is that weird?
I've listend to this about a million times while doing productive stuff (lab reports, note taking, etc). Set the speed to 1.25 and loop it. This is an amazing soundtrack to work to
Damn this game will forever live in my best memories. Stayed up playing the ENTIRE campaign at a resort when my mom took me out for a vacation right after my birthday. All night playing these damn levels with enough energy to run for miles, only to sleep all day and do it all again the next night 🌙 😴
It’s a kinda sad futuristic song, not really sad it just seems like if a song was past memories thrown into the future. Memories so close but just out of reach.
My all time favorite soundtrack, so nostalgic, so calm, so happy yet sad, I love every part of it and all the memories from years upon years ago, I miss it all very much, I truly do
Claire Wigsmoen Holy fuck, how ape shitting old most your Ps3 be, to just simply not read discs anymore!??? I salute you, you must be some high tier gamer legend xD
I finished the game and my ps3 still reads disc Wtf? Edit: not anymore, my ps3-reading-disk-inator just broke, now when I put the disk on, it's just stuck
It’s amazing how just remembering this song makes me wanna reflect back. I can’t believe how many things had not happened yet when I used to play this game. It’s never gonna be forgotten by us. The games power will never die and it will always help us out.
Avalon’s level is the most nostalgic to me cause i mostly played this level so when hearing this song i was hit in the feels of nostalgia, i wish i played Lbp 2 more
God damn this sounds so much better with headphones, is this the absolute highest quality or what? I can hear so many more sounds here that i didn't pick up on when i actually went to that world in LBP2 Edit: 7:15 Man too bad it ends soon after it gets REALLY good
May have been a kids game, but not only did it have one of the best kids games' soundtracks of all time, but you could make some real cool shit Just a list of some of the things I've done: Made the Gravity Gun from Half-Life 2, pretty accurately. A weird ass fluid simulation (didn't work as intended but was pretty cool) Giant robotic worms, those things were cool as fuck, like seriously. I don't fuckin remember anything else lmao it was like 2 years ago.
Dude, I've made so much shit, I made a sort of taxi ufo thing that can pick up cars or players that's activated by grabbing a terminal, I've made a bridge with a unique animation and a built in cutscene, a car that's built from a bunch of scrap, such as a tin can for the body, triangular speaker for the nose, a game console on the side of the body for the radio, a shoe on the top for a seat, batteries for wheels, attached to the body by a ruler and a soda can that acts as a turbo booster. But by far, the best thing I ever made was my tank. I got a video of it on my channel, it's got tons of features. A radio with a randomizer for when the song starts, lots of added details like gum and labels on the canisters, and the seat comes up when you sit inside, but doesn't go down when you stand up, it only goes down when you go away from the seat, which I did on purpose and took a while to do. All in all, very proud of it.
This was my favorite planet back in the day i used to spend SO MANY HOURS looking for huge spaceship replicas it's not even funny I also remember always humming this theme in the shower. I also used to be A GOD at the hamster race thing
This game franchise was the first I ever properly completed and mastered, I probably could not have had a better introduction into gaming, with great soundtracks, inventive level design and massive charm, I miss this game and will forever hate sony for not releasing the first 2 games on ps4 as those were some of my favourite games of all time
