@AbnormalAngie The end of the second to last level in Victoria's Laboratory. The level is called "Currant Affairs" and it is where you get to unplug the brainwave machine.
This goes from being pretty neat to absolutely badass at 1:16 when that guitar picks up That guitar being added into a track like this always blew my mind as a kid when it came on
@@Fisher_Tiger01 Oh no this was unrelated, the PlayStation just got too old and then some software went wrong and everything got wiped :( On a more positive note I still have the games themselves, everything is reset but I can experience it all again, and I got to complete lbp 2 before it died :)
Imagine if they remastered this game for PS5. Just think how massive and complex we could make our custom levels with modern consoles... I want to bless the new generations with this masterpiece of a game.
@@arekrekas213 Yes that is what I meant. I forgot remasters and remakes were different things. While level boundaries and layer limits may be the same, the prop limit likely would not which is the way I meant it would be more complex.
Plugged in my PS3 for the first time in like half a decade or more and played a random level which just happened to be this one and was blown away. Such a strong level theme.
That was actually a side of victoria herself. Experimenting with animals and electricity. There are 2 sides to her, a lovely baker, and a mad steampunk cientist.
@@plotylty so true I love the environmental story telling with how up until now you’ve only seen the beautifully sweet side of Victorias creations but once you go through her lab you get to see her darker side
Winifred Phillips, the composer of this piece of music, also worked on the score for the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory game, plus I believe she was also influenced by the movie. So, it would actually make sense that you think that.
Little Big Planet has such a special spot in my heart, I loved that game so much and I played it 24/7 with my siblings and friends when I was little. And when I saw that the servers were permanently shut down, I was in shock and so sadden by the idea that my favorite game of all time is gone, and I’m stuck playing the 3rd one…which is meh 😑, but I’ll forever treasure all the memories I made with this game. Rip LBP❤
The boss’ name was Kling Klong, and I can agree, it was challenging, but it was just as predictable as Da Vinci’s creation he used to put you to the ultimate test. I personally think that other bosses in the game such as Copernicus (that Guard Turkey from The Factory of a Better Tomorrow), the Meanie Attack Robot (from Avalonia), and the Negativitron itself (from The Cosmos) were more challenging and unpredictable than those from Da Vinci’s Hideout, and Victoria’s Laboratory. The boss from Eve’s Asylum was pretty difficult, given that if you touched any part of the that Meanie’s blobby body, you would take damage, but not too hard as its attack patterns were easily predictable.
durpymcdurpyson _yt That’s the Meanie Attack Robot. And I agree, I honestly died to that thing more times than any other boss; and the small plasma projectiles were what killed me most of the time.
I remember I used to play this game a lot as a kid, I had over 200 hearts and years worth of progress until I lost my PS3. LittleBigPlanet 2 was and still is my favorite game in the series for a lot of reasons but the music is one of the biggest ones, I believe that this track is where all of the musical talent shines, from the fun backing guitar to the whimsical choir like vocals. This track gives me an aesthetic similar to Alice in Wonderland, which is perfect for this part of the game. I did struggle with the boss battle in this area for a bit lol but I seriously love this track and the game wayyyy more. I hope I can get a PS3 again to relive my childhood memories.
I feel you…losing all my creativity, dlc costumes is the hardest thing to accept cuz I put my art for hours and making nice costumes is my favorite thing to do while playing the game. Now all that shit is wasted after how many years I played this game like rn am gonna have to “rebuy” the exact dlc costumes that I had, and remake them all over again.. seriously I was really upset when I lost all those things on a ps3 version..
Thi song SLAPS!!! SO MUCH NOSTALGIA! it takes me back to my carefree days where i waited all day at school to play LBP and i still get the nostalgic feeling when i hear it.
This music sounds like it came from Charlie and the chocolate factory on Gamecube....and low and behold! Winifred Phillips did this song! So much nostalgia...and it's amazing how you can tell who made the music just by the style!
Wonderful to hear another (good) version of this wonderful masterpiece, thank you. I've been trying to make good variations myself - and actually finnished one - but I haven't managed to record it or get it on my computer any other way.
10 years later and this is the only song from little big planet 2 I can remember the name of. This level was my childhood, me and my brother would play the section on loop together. Good times
I got lbp2 when either 2011, when I was 4, or 2012, when I was 5. I got LBPK in 2012 or 2013. I was the only one who played LBPK, no one else in my family did.
This was the only game I played nearly every single day for more than a month. I think I played this game for 2.5 years and probably only missing a few days in that time frame.
Fun fact: in the 3rd level of victorias labratory after "what are you playing for" plays you can backtrack to the beginning to have the level play just choir instead. its a bit creepy
Media molecule gave LBP to sony, who gave it to Sumo Digital. Media Molecule is busy working on Dreams, and probably don't want to work on LBP any more.
Developers always leave the best games and focus on 'better projects' when they already made a masterpiece.... i really hate this happening everytime... Okey i understand when to leave a movie trilogy or when its enough of an anime, but from a game never it's enough, it could be even more bigger... anyways... im just sad i can't bring back these times... amazing
Lbp is trash because sony rushed the entire process, if it werent for sony, lhp3 wouldnt be as glichty, and cliche as it is today, so stop blaming a company that tried their best to continue something we love (; ・`д・´)
I know people are saying that LBP3 is kinda a bad game, but to me, I really like it. It's just multiplayer that *bugs* me. In fact I am apart of a team and were currently making a brand new adventure that takes place after the Journey Home. I am their decorating guy.
I got this game ten years ago on the same night I tried real high grade sativa for the first time. I'd used the stuff for years, but I spoiled myself on some expensive stuff, and the high grade stuff was only just becoming available in my state at the time. And an hour into smoking THAT, here was in a level hurling cupcakes and avoiding hot jam. I don't wanna be one of those "Have you ever... on WEED?" but this is like in the top five games to play high.
