How to Cook Littlechef's Fish and Tofu with Tausi (Salted Black Beans) 🎧

Ingredients:
Fish Fillet:
1 kl cream dory fish fillet, cut into cubes (preffered size)
2 tbsp calamansi juice
Ground mixed peppercorn
Himalayan Pink Salt
1 c cornstarch
1 egg, beaten
Oil for frying
Tausi Sauce:
500g Firm Tofu, sliced
1 can (180g) Tausi, drained
200g Bok Choy, washed, ends trimmed
1 medium Red Onion, peeled and sliced
3 cloves Garlic, peeled and minced
1 inch piece of Ginger, peeled and thinly sliced
2 tbsp Kintsay, chopped
1 small Carrot, peeled and julienne
1 tbsp Olive Oil
1 cup Water
2-3 tbsp Oyster Sauce
Ground Mixed Peppercorn, to taste
Himalayan Pink Salt, to taste

I just cooked this for our dinner tonight. I added tomatoes and instead of Bok Choy, I used Chinese Cabbage or what they call here in the Philippines, Pechay Baguio. Except for Kinchay, good thing we have most of the ingredients including the Oyster Sauce. I love it!!!! Thank you and please do a Lenten Special for Fridays without meat. #Lent2020

I agree, the cooked fish should not be mixed too long , only the vegetables should be cooked with the sauce then just pour them to the fish and tofu, it also needs slurry to thicken the sauce, it looked watery.

Hi, you can try it without frying. There's ready to eat tofu in grocery stores. You may put it at the end of cooking. ❤️

Tausi is very salted so it'a best to rinse them first in water before incorporating...plus the oyster sauce is also salty...so taste! taste! taste

I am also a Filipino , Himalayan salt is very popular now in US, I use Himalayan salt if I will cook that needs salt , there are rock salt here but seldom use in cooking, even iodized salt, but those are use for other thing now.
