Hey if Al Weaver is really your uncle, can you tell him that I love his role as Rex in the videogame Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and think he did an amazing job, next time you see him? 🙏
Listen mate, it's late, and I really don't want to be bothered with a moron at this time. Look up the scene where Fiora dies in the original Xenoblade and then compare Shulk's reaction to Rex's reaction in any moment in the entire game. Al Weaver is a man that lacks emotion in his voice acting, and the only parts where he stands out as a voice actor is his natural voice, and his natural ability to speak arrogantly and cockily as it is what I assume you find to be the "hilarious" voice lines.
YourAverageUmbreon Damn kid you really got triggered. It was a fucking joke, chill the fuck out. Maybe you should realize one thing from this conversation, your justification is fucking ass like I've never seen anyone try and bash someone's voice by comparing it to someone else. Ever heard of directors? Yea the people who tell you how to do things when it comes to acting? Maybe you should look it up. Al Weaver could have done better yea, but he did a great job for 80% of the game.
1. Never compared voices, only compared effort displayed in portraying emotion. 2. You are talking about voice acting directors, who only control a few things and the rest is up to the voice actor. They give the actor the script, and if they don't like the result, they ask for them to do it again. 3. *Acting* gives the director a lot more control, when it comes to being the director of *voice acting*, you can only control a certain amount.
