@@josh6455no he wouldn’t have. Defeating shao khan there would have solidified the timeline that happened in Armageddon, remember in the midway timeline liu kang beats shao khan twice, killing him the second time. So this was basically like a nexus point. If liu kang kills shao khan everything is doomed.
Both of their faults actually, for Kung Lao wanting to prove himself & Raiden overthinking on how to win against Shao Kahn.. course if Past timeline Raiden was more elaborate on who "He must Win" really meant... then his counterpart would have acted accordingly, so yup 😐 Tho Shao Kahn was bout to kill Raiden in end of Mk Armageddon in the Mk 9 intro, soo realistically anyone wouldn't have much time to explain :' )
He never told Kung Lao to leave the arena. He says "Well the visions said he must win but the amulet shattered anyways so maybe it meant you instead of Liu Kang, go on and fight" then Kung Lao fights the deadly alliance, followed by Kintaro and Shao Khan then breaks his neck
I am not a powerscaler by any means but i just wanna share my dumb little headcanon. Any of you can correct me if you disagree. To me mortal kombat characters averagely are at best somewhere in the superhuman level to building level category in terms of physical capabilities but the abilities and hax of each character alone seperate their power level. One example is that shinnok who is a elder god still had to block bullets with his magic. Another example is that Quan chi had to use his magic to block bullets from Sonya and Johnny. Another example is that Johnny Cage was affected by a literal bullet in the face. Edit: I only watched the story of mk9, mkx, mk11 so i dont know much so feel free to correct me
This really showcases how smart and powerful Liu Kang is, even before he became a god his younger self from an alternate timeline after he was reincarnated takes over his own body to become a god and fix all other timelines.
If everyone didn’t know in MK9 when Raiden says “HE MUST WIN” I believe he was talking about his fight with Liu Kang, it has been said a lot before that the message was meant for Shao Kahn that he must win and yes that was partially true since that restored earth realm but it was only for sometime. Defeating Shao Kahn didn’t finish the fight with evil for good so when Kronika showed Raiden that she has restarted the time line many times in order to find the perfect one, Raiden finds out that he fights with Liu Kang in each one of those many timelines and in each fight in each different time line Raiden wins and kills Liu Kang on accident, the only way they were able to finally destroy the time loop and beat the true villain which was Kronika all along from the beginning, was by letting Liu Kang win, “He must win” letting him become the God of Fire and Lighting, the protector of earth realm, stopping Kronika once and for all, and the start of the new era. Funny to think if she wasn’t arrogant and told Raiden her plan, Kronika would of won.
That was in Legends timeline. In main game timeline, Liu Kang was an orphan who was found at the door of Wu Shi academy. In that sense, he was abandoned
@@Gho_sterywhat did he get wrong? Liu kang is understandably mad at Raiden for the deaths of Kung Lao and Kitanna. He accidentally gets killed in self defense. His soul is then obtained by Quan Chi, turning him into a revenant. He said ALL of that. You good?
That's the second not the first time line The first timeline is mk1,mk2,mk3 and then mk4 which continues in deadly alliance, Deception, and then Armageddon The second timeline is mk9, mk10, mk11, and aftermath The third is still m1k In mk11 to aftermath the first timeline liu kang teleported into the second timeline in which he is 3 timeline
You forget about Master bo ro cho, At one point kung lao being the mentor to Liu Kang. LIU KANG KILLING HIS OWN SOUL. This isn't something summed up by like a game or two and a movie. This shit has lore in it!
This man makes videos for MK story details that's literally the most recent and is something almost everyone knows already. How'd he become a God? Literally the most recent game, MK 11
I'm really gonna need to know how there is any Konflict in this game. Given that Liu Kang not just the Creator of all things, but unlike previous Gods, has zero qualms fighting. It just feels like when you can create Black Holes, nothing should really be a threat.
To make it short Liu Kang, Revenant Liu Kang, and Raiden fused and he had the power of the hourglass when defeating kronika. This guy had to explain the whole Backstory🫤
