Back in the day it was awesome. Cause you play Deadly Alliance and he is killed in the intro video, so to bring him back in Deception and as unlockable was awesome. It was much easier to play games spoiler free back then, so when I got zombie Kang in Deception it was a really awesome surprise. Then they give him that wild spot in the opening of Armageddon, swinging the chains around, super fun. Thanks for watching!

Depends on how old the fan is and what they thought of Liu Kang before. Easy to look back now and find it dumb. Back when it first happened and they killed him in deadly alliance, and brought him back. It was awesome.

It is still very buggy, 100 days later. The core experience is fun. But even as recent as a week ago they posted "don't skip intros online so the game doesn't desync, we fixed this on PC but the rest of you have to wait until Jan" No cross play, suppose to be coming in Feb, the online stability itself just isn't up to par with what we even had in MK11, let alone on par with newer games like SF6, Granblue rising, Tekken 8, Guilty gear Strive, I want very much to go back to it as I dumped a couple hundred hours in between launch and when Omni man hit, but for my mental health, I had to put it down until some of the bugs and online stability issues are addressed. As a PS5 player that pre-ordered it wait till January or even February. Most of the things I’ve wanted to say have already been said but it’s not worth the money. Especially since they only updated the PC version and shafted console players. Console and Mobile will probably get Payday 2’d

I've been playing mk since 1992, what else does one do to become a fan? Like the same stuff u like? Doesn't work like that.

I'm torn and really want to come back but it's still buggy as hell and the online stability needs alot of work. Crossplay still not till Feb, it's felt like microtransaction monetization has been put ahead of getting it up to par with what they have released before and it's left a bad taste in my mouth. I put a couple hundred hours into up to omni man's release but put it on the shelf after. Then they release a statement saying "don't skip intros or the game might desync, we fixed it on PC but consols gotta wait till Jan" that's not something I want to hear 100 days after launch about a game I paid 100 bucks for (deluxe version) I want nothing more then for them to fix it, finish it, balance the kameos a bit better, and I would go back. The potential is there to be the best mk they have made, but the problems continue to stack.

It upgraded his character from martial arts guy to god of fire. I've always loved the character but this makes me love him even more. Design is peak I tell you PEAK
