Great review as ever Gabi. I think its a pity Kia only selected one trim level for Canada. But the Niro PHEV is still an awesome vehicle for someone who wants to on save gas and not quite ready for a full EV.

Does this car have PTC? It can be fitted and stops the engine running when the external temperature is cold and you call for heat in the interior?

You can put LED replacement bulbs to replace those Stock bulbs. I put them in my Niro EV and it color matches now instead of being yellow next to the white LEDs, they're also much brighter.

Hey guys, great video, and really informative. I just placed my order for my 2023 Niro PHEV (in Nova Scotia) but we only had the HEV version as a demo, so It was great to see the extra things! Just wondering... do you know if key fob has a start button, or is it only available via Kia Connect app and would have to pay extra to use it after the 3 year trial is up? This would be for the same Niro EX PHEV model you have.

It does have remote start on the FOB, so you will be able to use that if you don’t want to continue your Kia Connect subscription in the future.

They have SX trim on phev but it’s available in the US only ; here for some reason they bring only ex trim

I was planning to go for the phev, however, I like the features from SX and since in Canada you can get only ex , I’m considering the hybrid SX as well , how long was the wait?

@@stefanbololoi7110ordered in August. Picked up October 28! Love the SX. You want the smaller rims then go with the EX premium The cloth seats are not nearly as comfortable and I personally need my 8-way power seats! Oh and air-cooled seats. I do have to say the Harman Kardon system sucks compared to the one I had in my 2020 Kia Soul by far.

@@Ryan-um8ug I really like the phev , but not the 16” tires, in my opinion doesn’t look as good as the 18”; I’m concerned about the audio system quality on the Ex trim compared to Sx trim plus not having all other features from Sx trim;Also what is your gas mileage so far with the 18” tires? I heard it’s less than the 16” tires, Thanks
