In the States now for 45 years, I still miss the fishing along the South Coast all the way to Port St.Johns. The problem is that the same type of fish here have a different names. Shad are called Blue fish, karentine is call a pin fish. Not sure what a Cob is called. Nice work. Please check the Surf Fishing in Cabo San Lucas Mexico. 1000 Miles of beaches and spectacular fishing.

I fished the gap in the 1980 /81 - during the hammerhead run lots of hammers of 30-40 kgs came back as half fish - one bite - some very big Jonnies out there !!
