Working at our fully equipped workshop in Kent we carry out tasks including Panel beating, Body work, Mig Welding, Sheet metal Spot Welding, Fabrication, Chassis Repairs, Sand Blasting, Engine and Mechanical repairs, Reconditioning, Restoration and Structural repairs on the Celette Jig Dozer frame machine.

We do receive quite a few questions regarding tools and equipment that we use for various jobs. Unfortunately there is too many to list but some of the brands we use include Snap-on, Blue-point, Makita, Sealey, Clark, Esab and Sykes-Pickavant.

Rob, the more we all come out of lockdown the more traffic will be on the road, this will result in an increase in damaged cars. Shouldn’t be long before the prices become affordable again. The channel is just top drawer every time 100% learn something every video. Cheers for taking the time to record and edit these uploads we do really appreciate all you efforts. It reminds me when you could make a loads of money at car auctions in the 80's & 90's and after that everybody was at it and nothing much could be made, so me & my bro packed it in altogether. I would not be one bit surprised that copart themselves is auto bidding them up now. They don't want nobody getting anything too cheap and with the ever increasing fees they are just killing themselves off for good. Top video rob.

Yes we used to do the same, could spend £1000 and make £500 profit in a week. People entering cars at auction expecting retail money for them now, and the auction houses let them. It's just a total waste of everybody's time.

Nice job guys! Have you ever thought of doing two yards to bid on, Chris looks after one and you do Copart? There has too be a system that works for you. Enjoyed the video Rob I am like you constantly watching the bidding and seeing prices go way bond what the cars are worth which is crazy. There is know money left in them. Why would anyone pay more than something is worth unless they are up to no good it doesn’t make sense they can’t be repairing them or not repairing them properly lol

I bid/buy on another auction site (not for vehicles and not on ebay)... I also noticed that the prices some items sell for is way above what they are worth. Its all since March/April time... Wonder what happened back then? lol.... Enjoy your videos guys.

One of my customers buys from copart each week & sends to Poland , he’s even started buying from copart Dubai & shipping to Poland , they don’t have a category once they get over there , it’s hard for us lot to compete over here rob

The Mobikes are from Manchester where I live, they were introduced a few years back to be similar to the Boris bikes in London, however it didn't turn out the same as people mostly vandalized them! I always wondered where they went haha.

Rob, nice short answer for you :). I’m guessing when you dicide your max bid, is it based on... 1 how it looks in the picture, 2 the detail in the description, and 3 your educated guess at restore costs against likely sale price? Anything else? Good variety of videos!

Hi Rob & Chris, the prices seem to be high, trouble is I think a lot of the cars are being bought to export, as cheaper to repair and easy to sell on in Eastern Europe I believe. I've no idea what or where but you may have to look elsewhere for good stock. Is there other companies along the same lines as Copart..?? Cheers, Alex.

The Polish & most of eastern Europe have been buying salvage from UK by the lorry load for the last 15/20 years!All auctions have ghost bidders,can any one prove any different!Crazy prices at the moment.I agree you have many more trying to do salvage now with all these channels popping up,More compition about now.

There are so many rebuild channels on here saying how easy it is I'd imagine everyone and his dog is doing it now. Having watched a few of the channels it's frightening how many bodges are being done like really screwed chassis legs being straightened with a dozer but not being checked for alignment, glueing airbag covers and various other ones. The good ones like you and Chris are going to suffer not just buying but when you come to sell because the category stigma is being reinforced by so many.
